For Sale:
1978 Shovelhead chopper. Crusty and fun. Originally an FLH 80; original frame has been hardtailed (done by Haifley Bros), motor is a 93” SS low comp kit (original cases, Harley long plug heads). Motor and frame match. ‘77 date coded ratchet top trans. Super E carb (have teardrop air cleaner, not pictured). Motor was completely redone when I built the bike (7 years ago, built by Jay Holmgren, AZ); transmission was also gone through. CCI rear wheel. Shaved 35mm front forks. Side fill, short horseshoe oil bag. BNC seat, thrashin top clamp, bates headlight, aluminum pegs, OG pre unit bars (7/8). BDL ball/diaphragm clutch, enclosed belt. Hand clutch, foot shift. Kick only, starter delete. PM rear caliper. Bike is a blast to ride. As mentioned before, I built the bike about 7 years ago. Went through everything, painted in old Chrysler metallic green, matching green and black cloth wiring. Runs, rides, and stops. I’ve had my fun with it; just want to build some other stuff. CA titled as a 1978 Harley, just renewed registration. Asking $11.5k obo. DM with any questions. Will post some running/cold start videos tomorrow; plenty of pictures upon request. Thanks for looking!
