I’m Bryce.
My first love was skateboarding, and during my formative years it taught me to examine our built environments with a peculiar eye - “could we skate that?”
Shooting Sponsor Me tapes with my friends was also the reason my parents gifted me my first camera as a child.
After finishing my degree in marketing, I was unsure if I wanted to be a photographer or work for a builder. Lo and behold, an opportunity to combine two of my interests presented itself. These two interests were high-performance building and a steady pay cheque. Full time photography would have to wait.
Building net zero houses was fun for a couple of years, but I ultimately found it more fulfilling to stare at a wall.. as light and shadow move across it.
I’ve now spent 4 years filming, photographing, and admiring light and the way architecture shapes it.
I still kind of miss those steady pay cheques.

Excited to be BC bound again in a couple of weeks in my Impreza camper, with a new bike on the roof!
Here are a few snaps from a work and fun trip through BC in the fall.
Inside the new @airdriepubliclibrary
I was able to get in just after completion and I underestimated how much havoc the children could wreak in their section in such a short amount of time 😅
Luckily, I had the awesome @kahlildec on site with me to re-style books and make sure everything looked orderly.
All that being said, this library really provides a great space for kids to read and learn.

The full video serves as a fun testimonial with a case study component, challenging the boring, corporate status-quo.
These are two cool companies, both doing great work, and this video aimed to reinforce that.
