I held so many fears around pregnancy and motherhood in general and what that would mean for my life and career. The past couple years I had already ‘fallen’ so far from what I deemed to be my life’s purpose. So many of my fears for the future of our world were coming true coupled with years of silently struggling with ADHD left me feeling stuck, numb and disconnected. I was forced to take a step back.  I didn’t know then that this eventually welcomed break and ‘slow life’ would prepare me for this new chapter - and for our greatest production yet :)  Pregnancy and entering motherhood despite all its challenges both mentally and physically has been the most profound experience of my life - I have never felt more present, more in tune with my body (and proud), and more beautiful.  I couldn’t imagine being here without the perfect life partner (Imad, my everything). Witnessing the strength and resilience of my own mother as a blueprint. My doula and midwives who became my real life guardian angels. Sisters, friends and chosen family who check in and continue to see me and the ways I am evolving. You make this journey feel less lonely and so beautiful.  I am so, so grateful. ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ, And last but not least - WELCOME TO THE WORLD OUR SWEET BOY DEAN. I’m so excited to be your mom.  Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who mother in all different ways. GRAVITY ✨ This one was important for me. It’s never easy to lose a loved one, and this film was reflecting on the search of meaning as Sean came to terms with the passing of his brother. A couple years ago I had the opportunity to produce another video for Mustafa, and it was dedicated to his dear friend that recently passed. I’ve been inspired by their healing process, and their willingness to share their grief through their art. A reminder to be grateful for the people around you. Thank you Sean for the opportunity.
