Brazil on Super 8 It’s rare to catch me shooting video, but I found my old Super 8 and decided to just have fun with it. The song in this piece is “Deixa A Vida Me Levar”, which translates to “let life take me” That’s exactly what I did. I let the days move me, and I hope this lil film moves you too. Wow. Insane to see my work displayed in the same mall where I spent so many years making memories. From hanging with the homies to back-to-school shopping with da fam—and if you’re from Jane, you know Yorkdale was the go-to spot for birthday linkups at Moxies/Cineplex. And now, to have my own photos up on those walls? MOD. Basketball has always been more than just a game—it’s been a passion and an escape since I was a kid. I had the honour of documenting Artists for Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles, California, A night rooted in collective responsibility shining light on the ongoing realities in Gaza and Sudan. Endless gratitude and love to @mustafathepoet for trusting me to capture such an important night and for putting this event together 💐❤️ s/o to Mustafa, @pascalispunk , @bellahadid , and every artist who used their platform to speak truth. Over $5.5 million raised for Sudan and Palestine relief. All funds raised go directly toward supporting children served by @thepcrf and the Sudanese American Physicians Association(@sudanese_american_physicians ) Proof that when art, community, and purpose align, real impact follows. I’ve rewritten this caption so many times because every time I sit with these memories, they hit me all over again. I joined Girls Outdoors program as a participant in 2020, then spent 2021–2024 documenting it as a photographer/mentor, four years of capturing something that helped shape me. Looking back five years later feels surreal. This was one of my dearest and longest projects. I watched these girls try new things, face challenges, and open themselves up to the world. Somewhere along the way, mentoring them meant even more than photographing them. The images came naturally once the trust was there after long drives, first flights, tough hikes, and moments that pushed all of us. As someone who never got to leave the city growing up, watching these girls experience that with incredible women guiding them is something I’ll never forget. When I look at these photos, I still feel everything. More than anything, I feel how much they impacted me. Thank you for letting me document such a special chapter. I adore you all. Thank you to all my sisters on this journey over the years!! Thank you @bisharo.farah and Tara for curating this beautiful exhibit. And thank you @kickbackfoundation , @jamaljburger , @arcteryxontario , and everyone behind the scenes who make moments like this possible.

Film and Creative Direction for On Me by @bando416 Music Video This one meant a lot. When SAFE asked if we could pull off a video in under a month, I said yes instantly. The first time I heard ‘On Me,’ it made me think about community, friendship, and the people who raise us. It felt like a reflection of everything that shapes you the good, the bittersweet, and what you never really leave behind. We spent an evening in the studio just talking, and the direction formed naturally. I chose to shoot on Super 8 because the song felt like flipping through old memories. I recreated pieces of his past, the boys sharing poutine from Bellissimo's, brothers sparring in the park, and the kite scene symbolizing him leaving the city while still leaving a part of himself behind. In this post, I wanted to share a few pieces of the process, from the BTS moments to the beautiful colour work that brought everything to life. Huge thank you to Helton for locking in for post production with me through those late-night sessions and helping shape the video into exactly what I imagined.
