Come witness the fiery end! 🔥🪾 To commemorate the burning of the scarecrow and an end to this character, on the 5th of November, (Bonfire Night/Guy Fawkes Night) I will be re-pressing a special ‘burning’ edition of Frolic on cassette tape, plus some limited edition T-shirts. I wanted to release them on Guy Fawkes Night because of the strong significance the day holds in relation to the Frolic EP… It’s a strange holiday as it seems to both celebrate anarchy and freedom yet also condemn it. It’s conflicted, gruesome and immortalises not only the individual, but what he represented. A reminder you can change the world. 😈🔥 Pre-orders available on @bandcamp now. my first album is out today 🌟 ‘an instar’ is a developmental stage of recalibration and skin shedding , taking ur shit and making it somethin new ~ Aninstar is my investigation ! its been a joy and a challenge , a downright menace , the most personal ive been with music n a reflection of times tricky and pretty over past years .. thru field recording n responding to my environment I was honest when doing this thing .. its true to my experience and has taken me many places , thats in its skeleton n im happy with that ! kind people were generous with their offerings thru the process , i made new friends and learnt from the closest , they all shaped it beautifully and supported me in different ways .. so from the bottom of my wretched n decaying heart ~ gratitude and love to my collaborators and to people who have offered guidance + opportunities to work in new places n ways .. very special endless thankyouz to Harry , Arthur and Christelle for everything given to me and this ~ it means the world and I’m forever grateful .. now its all yours, you can listen ~ it’s all good 💫 also im contractually obliged to inform u that there is a launch show next week at The Croft in Bristol on 23/10 .. and that Aninstar is available thru Illegal Data bandcamp as a CD and long sleeve shirt ! many thanks and down with the government, Dylan x
