“LOVE IS WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO IGNORE” This Friday (20th March) I’ll be performing all new music at @flattimeho London. It’s part of a whole durational performance event curated by @katieshannon23 , centred around the concept of Compression. ⚠️The whole event starts at 7.23pm sharp, and soon after the doors will be locked. I decided to give myself 2 weeks to write a whole new set of material in response to Compression, Love and Mania. As a result of this I came up with the statement “LOVE IS WHAT YOU CHOOSE IGNORE”. This has formed the basis of all the material I’ll be performing 🎭 I wrote a whole thing about what this means but I think actually better to just see it. Hello I am DJing in Manchester tomorrow night at best club ever @m3_7lw for @neww_wworld Now I’ve retired the scarecrow I might as well embrace the true demon inside me… The cringe millenial (me) would put up peace signs and caption this post something like: “IT ME! Also Manchester I am IN you for this hecking good night! Recommendations plz…GO! Methinks this be one fun part-ay! nom nom i am one hungry partydoggo. 🤣🤣🤣Also humblebrag: I did some smol adulting and went to Malaysia recently… was on fleek😍😍” Ok that was horrible. SEE YOU TOMORROW ✨✨✨✨

🪾🔥 And with that I rid the foul character from within me! What started as a fictional representation of excess soon turned into a haunting and damning reflection. I saw too much of myself in him. It was time to destroy it before it destroyed me. It’s time to move on, thank you to those who indulged this indulgence! Gratitude and riddance !! 🕊️

🎈The Balloon: fun, indulgence and a riddance of the spirit! 
As part of my live show there’s a section where I breathe air into a balloon and then slowly let it out into the microphone. 🌽For the ‘Frolic’ live shows, this was a way of releasing the spirit of the scarecrow character from within my body into a balloon and then out into the world. 🪦Previously, for the ‘Inflatable Gravestone’ shows the balloon had a different role. It signified the weight of pain carried through grief. And by releasing air from the balloon each time, it would be my way of me shredding some of this pain and sharing it with the world. I think the balloon is such a surreal yet playful object. It holds a sense of occasion and performance but is also deeply fragile.. #me lol 📆ANYWAY this year I really liked the @zaralarsson album, these two v poignant and touching albums about grief by @jenniferwalton.co.uk and @jerkcurb and I’m currently listening to Worldwide by @snooper_7 cos its hella fun. THANKS BYE!! 🎈🎈🎈🎈

Thank you for a great 2025 🌽 here are some of the #stunning depictions / fan art I’ve received of the scarecrow from the Frolic EP. 🥹🖼️ Massive thankyous to everyone who came to one or more of the (58!) shows, supported the record, said nice things etc. and special mentions to @machin3gir1 and @modelactriz for having me on tour this year. Playing w ya’ll has been a dream ✨🔥 I am v grateful for ALL OF IT this year and looking forward to the next chapter. Onwards and upwards on a continued path of learning. It has been revelatory both spiritually and creatively. Ta-rah! Xxx
