It’s a space dedicated to deep, focused listening. The environment is designed to help you slow down, disconnect from external noise, and reconnect with yourself. This is not just a room for music, it’s a place for restoration, reflection, and renewed perspective. No talking. No phones. No distractions. The room is fully analogue, powered by a beautiful handmade Core sound system, and holds a small capacity of people. Guest DJs: DJ Sundae (Idlepress) - responsible for a handful of revered compilations, including the much-loved Sky Girl comp with Julien Dechery, built from years of dedication to digging and a deeply considered approach to music. His sets reflect that same sensibility, moving fluidly through ambient, folk, dub and leftfield electronics with sublime finesse. Floor Length Shirt - an obsessive record collector who leaves no stone unturned, crafting free-flowing sets that feel both unpredictable and authentic, drawing listeners into a strange absorbing world. Whether hallucinatory fixes of acid and interstitial electronics delicate, atypical forms of dub and post-punk or liminal strains of ambient and folk, there’s a unity and a careful sense of consideration to a Sundae mix that makes them a reliably rewarding listen. On his label Idle Press, he has released records by Jonnine from the group HTRK, a kraut-rock project by Smagghe & Cross or some Gordon Pohl's tracks (as V2A). His folk and diy pop compilation Sky Girl, in collaboration with Julien Dechery has become one of the genre's benchmark records. He just released a new compilation of indie, expérimental folk called Mirrors for the bicentenary of the EPSM, a french mental health institute. His mixtapes releases on labels like The Trilogy Tapes, Good Morning Tapes or Perks & Mini routinely sell out, earning him a loyal cult following and cementing his reputation as a uniquely intuitive tastemaker. The video installation of @katja_stuke & Oliver Sieber « Le Monde de Demain » (Regards du Grand Paris) for which I did the soundtrack / mix collage in 2024 was projected in the streets of Düsseldorf last week (without sound). Deuxième volet à Lille le jeudi 12 février avec un live de @flaer___ (uk - odda recordings) + moi-même en dj à @camoufleur.galerie . Flaer aka Realf Heygate est également un artiste plasticien, il a réalisé les différentes sculptures qui illustrent à merveille la compilation Mirrors. Dans le cadre de l’exposition qui se tiendra à @camoufleur.galerie - à l’occasion du Bicentenaire de l’EPSM de l’agglomération lilloise - Realf exposera des reproductions imprimées de ses masques aux côtés des photographies de @richardbaron et des archives de l’EPSM.
