I love mastering for K7, especially DJ mixes! It’s really another kind of work as tracks are mostly overlapping and usually come from a lot of different sources: digital files - cd rips - vinyl transfers etc. The work itself is very similar from doing compilations - you have to be very picky on levels and global balance. My friend DJ Sundae asked me to work on a last minute project before his Japan + Asia tour, for @yangdead ’s new label @aft_mxx And this time, the music direction was very different from the usual Sundae style! There was some restoration and remastering from vinyl involved but mainly mastering from digital files. The title is 2401, The @_pei_sun_ artwork is stunning too ! Go get it, if you can.

⚡️ RELEASE ⚡️ Automatic BPM Bobby Parker on Antinote! Zaltan approached me for this project at an Antinote release party @babaluma a while ago, in between natural wine drinks. It was perfect timing. I wanted to put my hands on electronic music stuff, as I'd been working on many Folk / Jazz / Ambient / Dub and experimental reissues. ⚫️ I carefully cleaned, digitise, restored and (re)mastered the original Monster Funky 12s series, from the early 2000’s, that @zaltan_antinote brought me. Sam Berdah @thewall_studio did the cutting for the vinyl version of both tracks at @biduloscope studio. 👉🏼 Ask your favorite record store for a copy. Chaque copie est tamponée et vient avec une carte de visite du groupe ainsi qu’une copie du flyer original de leur unique concert. 200 copies ont été fabriquées à l’époque, l’objet est magnifique, pour les amateurs de DIY et autres Private Press. les deux morceaux en face B sont de magnifiques chansons bricolées Psyché / Folk (extraits) La moitié des ventes revient à Alain Champagne, le producteur du disque à l’époque. MP si intéressé par une copie avant qu’elles partent sur le www ! Last Crystal Eyes holy grail 7” on Le Ksioque d’Orphée for sale. Each copies are Stamped and unique and comes with a very nice Crystal Eyes purple card and a copy of the original flyer of their only show. Only 200 copies were made, item is very nice for DIY and Private Press amateurs. Both tracks on side B are great home produced psych / Folk songs (snippets) Half of the benefits goes to Alain Champagne who produced this record.
