A stunning entry just completed, featuring a sculpted mirror by Fernando Mastrangelo—now the focal point of the home and the first thing you see as you walk in.
Mastrangelo’s work is truly one-of-a-kind, crafted from natural and repurposed materials including sand, salt, and crushed glass—an elevated mix inspired by his deep reverence for nature and ecological issues.
This was love at first sight…which turned into the best surprise: our client gifted it to her husband as a memorable first art purchase for their new home. A piece with presence, meaning, and a story.

Thaw Sconces 01 + 02, Circa 2017
The Thaw Collection was inspired by a motorcycle trip I took across Patagonia. I encountered so much beauty in the glacial landscapes and I wanted to attempt to convey that in the work. The sconces are cast out of powdered glass and, when lit, they have the appearance of ice thawing.

These rugs from the Reverence Collection, crafted in collaboration with the masterful artisans at @efcarpetmakers , translate my signature material language and motifs into hand-sculpted wool and silk.
Inspired by cracked ice plates drifting apart, the layered strata of glacial aging, and the organic flows of my unique cement pours, these rugs capture nature’s raw beauty and impermanence in abstract form.
Thank you to Edward Fields for offering me the opportunity to imagine my designs as rugs. This medium has become a true passion of mine, and I look forward to more in the future.
