Smoke Show It doesn’t get better than this. A stunning entry just completed, featuring a sculpted mirror by Fernando Mastrangelo—now the focal point of the home and the first thing you see as you walk in. Mastrangelo’s work is truly one-of-a-kind, crafted from natural and repurposed materials including sand, salt, and crushed glass—an elevated mix inspired by his deep reverence for nature and ecological issues. This was love at first sight
which turned into the best surprise: our client gifted it to her husband as a memorable first art purchase for their new home. A piece with presence, meaning, and a story. Always a pleasure collaborating with Annie on her design + build projects. Thank you to everyone involved in the surprise, the install, and all the hands-on support. A Sunday welcome đŸ’« Hide and Seek transformed this incredible entry. Art can do that. Art is subjective
something resonates, or it doesn’t. I was with our clients at a studio visit with artist Claudia Mengel when one of them had a visceral response to this painting. It wasn’t what they planned, it simply spoke to her. We followed that instinct. Set within a grand, neutral entry, the bold color and gestural movement create a striking contrast, a dynamic welcome that feels just right. Often, it’s those visceral, unexpected moments that lead to the most meaningful choices. . . #SundaySpaces #WelcomeHome #AbstractArt #RomanoffElements

ready for summer ☀ This home is all about indoor-outdoor living. The main living spaces open directly to our clients’ outdoor entertaining areas, pool, tennis court, golf and more. Life here moves naturally in and out through the center of the home. Blue, purple, peacock feathers, water, and coastal views all played a part in the art selection. Distant Memory and Vibe by Allyson Monson Photography bring vibrant color, movement, and a sense of summer energy into the space. The art in your home should feel personal and make you smile. This is definitely our clients’ happy place. . . . #SundaySpaces #ArtForTheHome #LiveWithArt #RomanoffElements

Mother’s Day Edition đŸ€ What comes to mind today is nurture. Mothers do this in so many ways, raising, supporting, comforting, and guiding. The images shown reflect mothers at the center of their homes, in their kitchens, around their dining tables, in the everyday views where life unfolds. In its own way, art does the same, bringing warmth, beauty, smiles and meaning into the spaces we live in. A look at artworks chosen by wonderful mothers, and created by mothers, daughters, and grandmothers we’re lucky to work with. Artworks by Annie Mandelkern, Claudia Mengel, Maud Bryt, Allyson Monson, Linda Colletta, Shelli Breidenbach & Samantha Sandbrook. Happy Mother’s Day to all who celebrate, and are celebrated đŸ€ . . . #MothersDay #WomenInArt #WomenSupportingWomen #RomanoffElements

Unapologetically Pink đŸ©· Titles add another layer to a work. A feeling, an intention, a point of reference. Pink is often seen one way, but in this home it reads differently. Strong, confident, and unapologetic. Our clients embraced it creating a thread throughout their home that feels both personal and intentional. This artworks by Jami Goldman, from the Hue Collection, became the finishing touch in the room. Rich blues, finished with a hint of a gold float frame, bring depth and contrast to the palette. Designed by @finchandco_home , classic elements are reinterpreted through color and pattern, with artwork reinforcing the story. From a meaningful family print, to POP, a colorful mixed media work by Annie Mandelkern, to this vibrant final moment. It’s these personal layers that complete a home. đŸ’« . . . #PinkInInteriors #ContemporaryPhotography #ArtInInteriors #RomanoffElements

Natural Light đŸ’« Nature is often an artist’s starting point
form, movement, color, and light finding their way into the work. Artist Jessica Feldheim explores natural beauty and movement in a subtle, layered way. The viewer’s eye follows the composition much like a path or the bend of a river. From the Illumination Series, a custom 60 x 60” artwork, lights up this NYC hallway, sitting at the center of the home and aligning naturally with it’s neutral, elegant design. We’re excited to be working with Jessica on a commissioned pair of artworks for an entryway. The composition will be inspired by drawings from her upcoming travels in Greece, a beautiful connection for a waterfront home. We always love seeing how ideas take shape over time. đŸ’« . . . #naturalbeauty #creativeprocess #artinteriors #romanoffelements

Good night moon 🌙 Following the Artemis mission, a look at a few of our projects inspired by the moon and its phases. Each is unique, different inspirations, materials, and custom colors
all created in collaboration with artist Linda Colletta. What connects them is a shared sense of wonder, in the moon, its phases, and the natural world. The images from Artemis this week have been awe-inspiring, a reminder of why the natural world continues to inspire creativity. Swipe through for a few of our projects, along with this week’s Artemis images — a glimpse of that same sense of wonder. 1. Three moon phases on canvas in custom colors overlooking the ocean in Sarasota 2. A sculptural, handwoven blue white & metallic moon reflecting the Palm Beach light — the colors of the ocean, sun, and moon 3. Soft pink, metallic half-moon works on paper for a guest room đŸ’« . . #MoonArt #ContemporaryArt #SculpturalArt #ArtInInteriors #RomanoffElements

Easter edition đŸ€ A recent installation for clients who love color. We worked together to bring artwork into their family-centered home that adds energy, warmth, and a sense of joy to their newly renovated spaces. A nuanced abstract landscape by Kelly Rossetti serves as a focal point, bringing the room together through layered color and expressive form. The custom painting was inspired by a smaller work
thank you Kelly for the evolution from where it began and where it led! On installation day, the table was already set for the holiday. On the far wall, more color and dimension in the two. handcrafted glass installations, from The Rock Series by Christopher Jeffries. Swipe through for more views. Thanks to @finchandco_home and @averyfineartservices . There’s something about this time of year, spring, color, and gatherings. Happy Easter to our clients, their family, and all who celebrate! . . . #HappyEaster #ColorInInteriors #AbstractPainting #ArtInInteriors #RomanoffElements

It’s cherry blossom season 🌾 Peak bloom is here
closely tied to spring and a sense of renewal, new beginnings, and the beauty of something fleeting. Nature continues to inspire in endless ways. Artist #Dagmara Weinberg, based in the DC area, reinterprets cherry blossoms each year through her evolving Cherry Blossom Compositions. We’ve placed these works in different ways, a large-scale piece anchoring a grand stairway, a series of colorful images bringing nature into a NYC office, another in a guest room, chosen as a personal reminder of time spent in DC. Swipe through for a few views of the work, today’s DC blooms, and a beautiful memory walking through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, under a canopy of blossoms on the way to a gorgeous spring wedding. Surround yourself with what you love. Enjoy the spring weekend. 🍃 . . . #CherryBlossomSeason #ArtInInteriors #NatureInspired #RomanoffElements
