Happy international organ day! 🎶 Follow @hsgmuseum to see more! 🎶
“The console, chests and action were built by the M. P. Möller Company of Hagerstown, Md. for the Reformed Church of Palmyra, PA. The organ was moved several times and last was in the person of Prof. Robert W. Whiting, who had adapted it for a practice organ in his music studio. Much of the pipe-work was changed to facilitate the playing of Baroque as well as romantic literature. Outstanding Philadelphian organ builders’ work is now represented: including Haskell, Bates and Culley, Roosevelt, and Stanbridge.”
