🌿 We love a local business that shows up for our community — and @plant4good absolutely did. They donated a sweet gift prize for our Most Stylish Mom at Mom’s Night Out for Mother’s Day. And style? To us it’s not the outfit — it’s the presence. The warmth. The way you walk into a room with curiosity and a desire to connect. Fitting that it came from a shop that has that exact same energy. ✨ Congratulations (and thank you) to Bri Stairiker from @unwind_the_mind_counseling for being selected by our collaboration facilitators for this honor. If you’re still figuring out plans for Mother’s Day, go visit Plant 4 Good in Ardmore. Take your mom. Buy her a plant. Take a workshop together. Trust me — the atmosphere alone is worth the trip. Local. Cozy. Wonderful. 🌱 #plant4good #mainlineparent

Look at these faces. 🌸 These are friends. Some of them just met. That’s what tonight was about. Not networking. Friendship. Real, warm, ā€œI’m so glad I met youā€ connection — the kind we don’t make enough time for. The kind that reminds you you’re not alone. Tonight we stepped away from the desk, the kids, and our partners. We put the phones down and just… talked. Really talked. And I’m reflecting that this is my why — I help people find each other. Build real relationships. Feel a little less alone in this season of life. Tonight reminded me why it matters so much. And honestly? It left me wanting more — more conversations, more connection, more of this. Thank you to everyone who came and gave this night your whole heart. You are why this community exists. šŸ’›

@blackbird__health sheds light on the hidden stress of graduation, especially when young adults feel stuck. šŸŽ“ Graduation is supposed to feel like a launch, but for many young adults and the parents watching them, it feels more like standing at the edge of something with no clear direction forward. What families often label as laziness or lack of drive is almost always something far more complex than it looks. For young adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, or sensory differences, the loss of school structure can make challenges that were once manageable suddenly feel impossible. Add in the pressure of social media where everyone else appears to be thriving, and shame can quietly take root, making it even harder to ask for help. Feeling stuck during a transition isn’t a character flaw...it’s a signal that something important is shifting. Blackbird Health breaks down what’s really happening beneath the surface, what parents can do right now, and when professional support makes the most difference. Their teams across the greater Philadelphia region specialize in helping young adults build the skills that lead to lasting independence. Your 2026 Main Line Parent Women of Influence Guide 2nd Edition is here! šŸ’ She’s been on your mind, hasn’t she? The one who shows up every single time. Who carries the hard stuff without making it anyone else’s burden. Whose story deserves a bigger audience than she’d ever ask for. So many of our nominees this year are mothers, mentors, and the women quietly making everyone else’s bloom possible. Nominations close this Sunday, May 10th on Mother’s Day, so don’t wait! We’re also coming together this Thursday at Lola’s Garden in Ardmore for Mom’s Night Out for Mother’s Day. Real conversation, great food, gift bags worth the trip, and a Most Stylish Mom award for the woman who walks in and lights the room up just by being herself. Prizes include a portrait session from @ivorytreeportraits and a custom planter from @plant4goodpa . Skip the mom-iform and spend the evening with us! This fall, we’re also honoring one extraordinary young woman under 24 at the Main Line Parent luncheon alongside our award winners, and we’re looking for brave women ready to take the stage and share their story. She deserves her flowers. Nominate her, grab your tickets, or apply to speak at mainlineparent.com/women. 🧔 #MainLineParent #WomenOfInfluence #DaringToBloom #MNO4MothersDay #MainLineWomen

Happy May! Our Women of Influence Alumni series is wrapping up, so if someone in your life deserves her flowers, nominations for 2026 close on Mother’s Day. We’re also looking forward to seeing you this Thursday at Mom’s Night Out for Mother’s Day! Dr. Kristin Meyer was always the person parents pulled aside in the hallway when they didn’t know where else to turn. The teacher, the principal, the one with answers for families who didn’t even know what questions to ask. She loved the students and she loved the families, but the politics that came with leadership kept pulling her away from the work that actually mattered. Stepping back from that wasn’t a loss. It was a redirect that led her straight to co-founding The REACH Group with Dana, with the philosophy that no family should have to figure this out alone. And the difference that makes isn’t abstract. Two teenagers, same diagnosis, same school district, same situation. One family found The REACH Group through their scholarship program. The other didn’t. One kid stayed in school. The other was expelled. Dr. Meyer proved the district hadn’t followed its own policy, and she’ll tell you that outcome didn’t just keep a kid in school. It changed the whole direction of his life. She’s taken that same drive into policy, finishing Pennsylvania’s Department of Education fellowship as the only advocate among 40 educational leaders. What she found wasn’t encouraging. Pennsylvania funds just 22% of special education while the number of students who need services keeps climbing past 324,000. Her response isn’t to be discouraged but to show up, smile, and get to work. Dr. Meyer’s built her entire career on the belief that every kid deserves someone who won’t stop fighting for them. For thousands of Philadelphia area families, that someone is her. Explore the stories of our Women of Influence Award-Winning Alumni and nominate someone whose story deserves to be told before Mother’s Day at mainlineparent.com/women. 🧔 #MainLineParent #WomenOfInfluence #MainLineWomen #DaringToBloom #Women

Summer’s coming up fast, and if you have a teen on the Main Line, there are so many ways to make it count beyond just hanging out. ā˜€ļø Whether your teenager is looking to earn some money, build leadership skills, explore a career interest, or just have a great summer, there are options out there for every kind of kid. The key is starting the search early since many of these programs fill up well before school even lets out. Camp counselor and CIT roles are a natural starting point for a lot of teens, especially those who grew up going to camp themselves. Many camps have formal counselor-in-training programs that kick in around age 13, and from there teens can work their way up to junior or head counselor roles over the following summers. Beyond camp, local country clubs are always looking for summer staff and hire as young as 16 for roles like lifeguarding, snack bar, and wait staff. There’s also internships and enrichment programs for teens too! Here are some local camps/opportunities to check out: šŸ“@mythikcamps šŸ“@deandaventurecamps šŸ“@pinemerecamp šŸ“@musictheatrephilly šŸ“@travelforteens šŸ“@wolfperformingartscenter Find the right opportunity for your teen this summer at mainlineparent.com/camps 🧔
