Crafting is healing! 🎨️‍🩷 Guest instructor Chemarra Bryant from Seaside Support Services (pictured left) recently led a Cricut crafting event in the HKIC. Participants created custom wellness kits with self-care items like journals, writing supplies, herbal tea, and fresh flowers that they could keep or gift to a loved one.🌷 We're offering more free Cricut programs this spring and summer—visit events.heightslibrary.org/calendar to learn more and sign up!

It’s National Library Week and National Poetry Month! 📚✨ To celebrate, we invited some of our readers to write haikus about why they love their library. Whether it’s the books, the spaces, or the people that keep you coming back, your enthusiasm is what brings Heights Libraries to life. Share your own library haiku in the comments! #NationalLibraryWeek

Wondering whether spring is here to stay? Daffodils are an easy indicator that spring is here in Northeast Ohio, and they’re blooming at the Noble Library this National Library Week. The planting palette for the Noble Library Reading Garden was inspired by a Fairytale Woodland theme. The PJM Rhodendrons just finished an intense display in the parking lot last week. A variety of Hellebores colored pink, purple and white, are currently blooming, and the Crab Apple trees are ready to burst. The enchanting scenery was designed as the perfect backdrop for immersing yourself in a fairytale. There should be something new blooming almost every week throughout the summer, so grab your favorite book and enjoy some reading outside!
