I got to collaborate with 20? (Unknowable number) of Artists. These brilliant Musicians, Dancers and Puppeteers came together for 3 weeks at the @atlanticcenterforthearts to create a show inspired by the music The Carnival of the Nearly Extinct Animals by @stephanieannboyd It was a life changing experience for all of us and I am forever grateful. 💀Scarecrows on the High Line💀 Old post but a favorite project of mine from last Halloween @highlinenyc . The scarecrows were woven in workshops with @highlineteens High Line Teen Fellows and crafted using High Line plant material lovingly gathered by volunteers and High Line horticulturalists. After their weeklong appearance on the High Line, the plant material was composted and the wire frame was recycled. I do love a zero waste public art project! And working with all that gorgeous plant material?! From the ocean to the river…… A gilded Atlantic Sturgeon puppet traces the ancient migration path up the Hudson River on the magestic @schooner_apollonia as part of @riverkeeper Fish Migration Celebration.
