Narrative Teapots: Sculpting Stories Through Clay
Join me for a weekend workshop dedicated to creating sculptural teapots that defy tradition and tell a story. Using the essential elements of a teapotâhandle, spout, lid, and bodyâweâll explore how these forms can come together to create narratives that push the boundaries of function.
Youâll develop and refine handbuilding skills while diving into the historical context of teapots as both utilitarian objects and works of art. With guidance from an instructor who got their start crafting unconventional teapots, youâll have the freedom to design your own imaginative piece that blends form, function, and storytelling.
