Hi everyone! I thought it was about time I introduce myself to those of you I haven’t gotten to meet yet. My name is Robin, but my close friends call me Rob, and you can too. I’m a potter living in Richmond, Virginia even though I’m from the west coast originally, and will always feel like a west coast girl at heart. I make functional pottery, meaning lots of mugs! Luckily I don’t mind attaching handles- in fact, it’s one of my favorite parts, and in my opinion the most important. My goal is to make the mug you reach for every morning because it just feels right in your hand. I’m meticulous about form but often whimsical in design. I’m always trying to balance my desire for straight lines and clean edges with my tendency to let things go where they will and flow freely. I’m always trying to be a little more Bob Ross and a little less Martha Stewart, if you know what I mean 😉 My work is for sale online on my website and on Etsy, on Faire for Wholesale, and in shops around Richmond and beyond. I love seeing my work be used and loved, and I hope I get to share it with you too! ❤️

I had so much fun at Spring Fest this weekend! Thank you @chaofrva for putting on a such a lovely event. I sent so many cheez it magnets, mugs, espresso cups, and misfits and weirdos into the wild, and loved finding out who is team cheez it and who is team goldfish. I hope to see you all again next year!

THIS WEEKEND!! Here’s a little sneak peak of some of the offerings I’ll have at my booth at the Church Hill Sping Fest (this Saturday!!) presented by @chaofrva ! Believe me when I say, this is just a small sampling of all the pieces I’ll have available for you. Some of you may know I don’t usually do in person markets, but who knows, if I have a ton of fun with you guys this weekend I may have to do market more often! Come see me! ☕️ 🍷 💐

Just in time before April ends! This month’s magnet is a duo, a classic pairing of peas and carrots to celebrate the return of garden season, fresh spring sales, and weekend strolls around the farmer’s market. I was originally thinking the I’d do just the pea pod, but it looked so lonely without a little carrot friend 🫛 🥕

This vase was just BEGGING for tulips. Honestly, tulips are my absolute favorite flower for a super simple and easy arrangement that always looks fabulous. Especially when I want to show off the vase (ahem), keeping it simple and elegant is the best way to go. And after almost a decade of floral design, trust me when I say that I love a big fancy mix, but just a few blooms is sure to steal the show 💖 Come shop my spring vase selection at my in store pop up at @strawberryfieldsrva THIS SATURDAY, April 18th. Find me there 10-1 !

Did you know I was a floral designer for almost 10 years? That’s one of the many reasons why I’m excited to be popping up at my favorite Richmond flower shop (where I used to design flowers every day!), @strawberryfieldsrva on April 18th! Trust me, you don’t want to miss tulip season at Strawberry Fields, and I’ve made some very special one-of-a-kind vases with spring flowers in mind! Come see me! ❤️ 💐 ✨

I wanted to post the director’s cut of my kiln unload, but it was 20 minutes long and a lot of talking. So here are some highlights and a lot of silliness. See you at @strawberryfieldsrva on April 18th???

Did you know that spring is the luckiest month? Ok I may have just made that up because my birthday is in March, but I think the leprechauns would agree with me! I chose to make spring rolls for magnet club this month as a nod to the spring equinox, but did you know that spring rolls are meant to look like a gold bar with their cylindrical shape and golden color? They are meant to bring wealth and prosperity, and I don’t know about you guys, but I could use a little of that energy these days! Head over to the blog on my website to read more about this month’s magnet club magnet 🧲 . Link in bio! 💛⭐️💛

The last color from my spring collection I want to highlight is Wisteria. This soft lavender feels like the gentle awakening of vibrant colors, fresh flowers, and brighter days. I’ve always been a huge fan of purple (there was time many (MANY)years ago when I would have told you I was working towards an all purple wardrobe. It never happened and I can tell you now it never will, but you get the idea). Nothing feels whites a springy to me as bright lavender color. Out of all the spring 2026 colors, which is your favorite? The poll only lets me have 4 options, so drop a comment if you like Mist (pale blue) best!
