✨We’re excited to share our updated Mission and Purpose, and new Vision and Tagline, reflecting who we are as a 501c(3) and where we’re headed together to make a better Church Hill for all 🫶 We’ve also unveiled our new logo and refreshed branding, created by the talented @ravenandcrow — a husband-and-wife design duo who live right here in Church Hill! Their design captures the spirit of our community with Church Hill’s iconic gas lamps, nods to the surrounding hills, our view of the river, and a stained glass look that honors our namesake. If you ever have brand development, graphic design, or other creative needs, we can’t recommend Raven + Crow enough! 🙌

💚 Church Hill Association | Our Impact in 2025 Your annual $30 contribution made a huge difference this year! We were able to accomplish things such as: 👧📚 Caring for Kids & Schools Supporting students, teachers, and families through drives, events, and direct support. 🌳 Investing in Public Spaces Planting trees and supporting greener, more resilient shared spaces across the East End. 🤝 Bringing Neighbors Together Creating moments of connection through events like concerts, festivals, and tours. 🏘️ Connecting the Community Keeping neighbors informed and engaged through newsletters, meetings, and events. 🏛️ Honoring Our Past, Shaping Our Future Supporting our historic fabric, educating neighbors, and advocating for thoughtful change. 🤍 Supporting Local Partners Collaborating with organizations doing meaningful work in and around the East End. All of this was accomplished by Church Hill Association’s volunteers, together with our many incredible partner organizations, without whom this work would not be possible. If you believe in community-powered impact, donate, volunteer, or get involved. Link in bio ✨

With roots dating back to 1964, the Church Hill Association is a local nonprofit whose mission is to help Church Hill thrive and grow thoughtfully — guiding local progress, respecting our shared history, and fostering connection among all who live, work, or visit here. We moved our home (and studio, in the carriage house behind it) to Church Hill at the end of 2021, charmed by its cobblestone streets, historic homes, and soaring views of the city. In the fall of last year, we started working with the Church Hill Association on a full visual rebrand to accompany its new mission and vision, intentionally shifted to better reflect and serve the community as it evolves and changes. The resulting logo focuses on the iconic gas street lamps common in Church Hill while also bringing in the concept of Richmond being historically recognized as a city built on seven hills. The outlines of the hills come together inside the lamp to intersect and form a flame representing a guiding light for the community and the historic origins of the city itself. After finalizing the brand and logo, we then helped to develop new merch for the CHA as well as a new web presence....which went live two weeks ago, literally two days before the New York Times featured a link to it as one of their Key Stops in their recent 36 Hours in Richmond, Va. piece. How’s that for timing? Thanks @nytimes ! And a huge shoutout to @lbiggs20 + @pixiecuts_video who lent their beautiful photography and video work, respectively, to the site and to the talented @emilyroutman whose illustration work grace both the site + tote bag and who managed printing. Richmond — be sure to come out this Saturday for the 4th Annual Spring Fest in Libby Hill Park. There’ll be free yoga in the morning and live music, kids’ crafts, local business and nonprofit pop-ups, and food + drinks from local restaurants, wine shops, and breweries. It’s a free event that runs 12-5PM, aimed at spotlighting the organizations that make our neighborhood special and bringing our community together! We’ll put a link to the page in our bio — hope to see you there! . . . . . . #Richmond #ChurchHill #Design #Branding #BrandingAgency

CHA Small Biz Spotlight | Peaberry Coffeehouse | 1301 N 32nd St ☕✨ Meet @peaberryrva , the newest venture from Alexa Schuett (owner of @riverbendroastery , @lphrva , and @chimbosandwichshoppe ), which just opened last week. Peaberry came out of an ask from a neighbor: bring good coffee to Church Hill North—and Alexa delivered 💫 What you’ll find at Peaberry: • House coffees with a slightly more classic, darker roast profile ☕ • Espresso drinks, nitro, matcha, tea, lemonade, and more 🍵 • Fresh baked goods from Riverbend 🥐 • Coming soon: daily fresh breads from Lyon Bakery 🥖 What’s a peaberry, you may ask? A smaller, rounder type of coffee bean grown in only a few regions worldwide. It’s Alexa’s favorite, and now the namesake of this colorful new spot. They’re also selling house beans with names inspired by strong women—Queen Peaberry, Duchess, Empress—fitting, considering Style Weekly dubbed Alexa the “Queen of the Hill” (and we agree!) 👑 Beyond coffee, Peaberry is designed to be a true community space 🤝 The shop is hoping to host small events and become a gathering spot for neighbors. There’s plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor, so bring a friend or bring a laptop and get excited a fresh new space in Church Hill North! Hours: Monday–Friday: 6am–5pm Saturday–Sunday: 7am–5pm
