Behind the scenes of a big weekend! Thank you @chaofrva and @thevalentinerva for inviting us to pour, and thanks to this incredible crew for keeping bottles cold and glasses full all over Richmond. Lucky to do work that we love.
*SOLD OUT* On Monday, May 18th Tabbs Creek Flower Farm will join us for a flower arranging workshop! Fresh-cut flowers and wine. What more do we need? Reserve a spot at the link in our bio! 🌷
What are we reaching for these days? The Margot rosé from Domaine Lampyres. Again and again. Made from Grenache Noir and Carignan Noir, its gorgeous tangy fruit and impeccable structure are a match for any mood.
Another cozy After Hours in the books! Thank you to everyone who attended and to Saul for sharing his time and his lights out ‘23s with us. One of our biggest goals as a shop is to connect our community to the people making the wines that we love. Hope to see you at the next one!

We’re kicking off 2026 Culture Club with an evening of scent exploration alongside our friends at Huff! We will critically sniff our way through two wines and two perfumes, discussing how to identify aromas and cultivate personal tastes and palates. Monday, March 30th from 6:30-8pm. Tickets available now through the link in our bio! Spots are limited but keep an eye on our website for a calendar of upcoming clubs.
Here at Second Bottle we think it shows a great deal of responsibility, foresight and frankly, swag, to start planning your spring sips on a day as dismal as this. You are brave, you are beautiful, you are joining us from 5-7 to try these wines from a stellar line up of female winemakers, it’s just the kind of person that you are.
This could be your lunch tomorrow. Succulent croaker packed in rich olive oil to eat with a sleeve of saltines or piled on a piece of toast. Don’t forget a squeeze of lemon and a glass of Albariño.
