I’ve always loved the projects that live in between where creativity, and craft all have to hold equal weight. Had the chance to step in as Producer & DP on a featurette for Crime 101 with Amazon MGM. We brought Halle Berry and Mark Ruffalo onto a greenscreen stage in NYC, working to match footage that had already been shot overseas with Chris Hemsworth. One of those shoots where everything has to line up camera placement, distance, timing exposure, all in service of making it feel like they were actually sharing the same space. A fun puzzle for sure. As always I appreciate the crew that helped bring it together, and to SunnyBoy and Goodform LA for the trust. Crime 101 is now streaming on Amazon Prime

Looking back on a whirlwind week in NYC and so grateful for opportunities to tell Jewish stories in multiple ways! The week started off with co-producing an event with @rebootjewish and @mm_jccmanhattan called This is What Jewish Looks Like, an evening of five award-winning short films mining 21st century Jewish identity for laughs, pathos and cultural insight. The film I wrote, produced and acted in @conosesfilm was one of the five films, alongside Miriam, Anne, We Should Eat, and Babka. The Q&A after was rich and inspiring- a realization that Jewish Joy and laughter are needed now more than ever. And such an honor and pleasure to be amongst friends and talented filmmakers @serena_dykman @adieshman @gofordesiree @alysiareiner @thepearlscarlettgold . Special thank you to @noamenclature for being such a wonderful partner bringing this vision to life and moderating the panel so skillfully, and @tanyaschevitz @belabellstar and @rebootjewish for all your support. And to Isaac, Juliette and the entire @mm_jccmanhattan team for organizing and hosting us in your beautiful space! My heart is full to share my story in NYC alongside these powerful films.
