Next month at the wonderful @leithdepot138 💥 First Fuzz Bat show since February featuring a cracking triple belter of a lineup featuring indie moon rockers: @shinlifter , noisy indie pop quintet @bakerislandtheband (from Newcastle) and newish post-punk band @dietofwormsuk ✨️ Will be my first time putting on both Baker Island and Diet Of Worms, both of whom I'm super excited to see. Two months to go until the @sha_rivari : Doormat’ single launch at @leithdepot138 . Stoked to announce the first support for the night 💥 Psych Electro Punk @dezdareriffs will be coming all the way from Brighton for this show 🚆 "dynamically armed with a ten-pronged set of lyrical barbs and musical hooks that, once heard, sink deep and hold fast”-The Wire Dez Dare and Sha Rivari & The Maybes toured together last summer and the final show saw them perform at Leith Depot. Dez killed it with a banging set at that show and we are excited to see him perform once again. He’s even got a whole new album out next month ✨️ Also the two acts had a rather lovely time together and tour and it seems only fitting for them to reunite for what is sure to be a wonderful eve. Holy wowzers, a new single and a gig both coming in a couple months. Stoaked about this double whammy of an announcement 💥 On 19th June, 'Doormat', the debut single from @sha_rivari will be released on Fuzz Bat Records and Rivari Records. The first release on the former since Feb 2025 and the latter since July 2025 🎶 And on 20th June, there will be a launch gig for said single at @leithdepot138 hosted by Rivari Records and myself. Third and final collection of belated snaps from of Fuzz Fest Episode IV. These are from part 4 at Leith FAB Cricket Club on 10/01/26. Alas Debs couldn't make part 1 on the Thurs at Home bar so nae fancy pics for that section... A magical and beautiful conclusion to the best thing I've ever done with Fuzz Bat. Took a chance booking the bigger venue for the final section and it paid off with just over 100 people attending. The saturday eve was a fantastic night full of rad sets and amazing people. Fuzz Fest kicks off in two days! Fuzz Fest Episode IV will occur from 8th to 10th January. Here's the lineup for the thurs eve (8th) section at @home_edinburgh which kicks off the whole fest ✨️ Performing are... The Picture Center Kid: Twee two chord tales about inaccurate bus timetables and superhero librarians from Dom of @voxboxmusic @arrowsmeet : Glasgow Duo combining thumping and funky electronic sounds with engagingly ambiguous narratives (Ft Nashii of @fomachete ). Heaven's Teeth: New indie rock/skronk quartet feat members of Paul Vickers & The Leg, @shinlifter , Andy Brown's Victorian Karaoke and @the_chunks_band . Debut gig. @vexations_uk : Off Kilter alternative noisy post-punk quartet. Also featuring act introductions from @olivia_furey_ Shinlifter sadly had to pull out for personal reasons but will get them back another time. Picture Center Kid on at 20 past 7 prompt, so do come down early.
