Dez Dare is Darren Smallman, label owner, music marketing guru, audio visual artist, booking agent and for this interview indie rock musician. Darren grew up in Australia and was influenced by the 90’s punk scene during which time he was heavily involved in bands. He found his way to Brighton in the early 2020’s, setting up a studio and producing music and videos. Two months to go until the @sha_rivari : Doormat’ single launch at @leithdepot138 . Stoked to announce the first support for the night 💥 Psych Electro Punk @dezdareriffs will be coming all the way from Brighton for this show 🚆 "dynamically armed with a ten-pronged set of lyrical barbs and musical hooks that, once heard, sink deep and hold fast”-The Wire Dez Dare and Sha Rivari & The Maybes toured together last summer and the final show saw them perform at Leith Depot. Dez killed it with a banging set at that show and we are excited to see him perform once again. He’s even got a whole new album out next month ✨️ Also the two acts had a rather lovely time together and tour and it seems only fitting for them to reunite for what is sure to be a wonderful eve.
