Little is known about DJ GTi — exactly as he prefers it.
‘enhanced_performance’ is the London producer’s debut EP and is set for release on 12.06. The EP is DJ GTi’s first release since ‘Santa Teresa’, his standout contribution to longtime collaborator @sofiakourtesis DJ-Kicks mix.
Out today, ‘turbo_viento’ kick-starts the EP in full throttle mode, a feverish Latin-infused techno workout that spirals into near-total disintegration. Shaped by a fascination with JDM cars, late-night street racing culture and underground car meets, ‘enhanced_performance’ channels the atmosphere of a hidden world. Clipped drums, fractured synths and warped vocal samples are threaded together with field recordings captured at the meets themselves.
DJ GTi joins @mori.111111 , @djstreaks and ⌭ @icemorph_baby ⌬ at Select Discs’ FREE party at The Great Escape 2026, taking place on 14.05 - 2-6pm at 4-5 Maderia Drive, Brighton.
