Fustic. is a Hanoi-based future-forward multidisciplinary creative studio that blends art with emerging technology. The studio was founded by the three Vietnamese visual artists Trung Bao (@tbaocreate ), Hai Doan (@haidoanhai ), and Nam Le (@namleday ). What happens when you step in the void? The system senses your presence and reacts instantly, acknowledging every visitor through a transformation of color and form. Within this iteration, VOIDIS was designed for the most human of actions: the simple act of stepping. Once you step in, the dialogue begins. With the conclusion of our installation ‘Voidis’ in Ho Chi Minh City, we reflect on a quiet dialogue between the observer and the observed. Over these three days, a simple step became became thousands of unique expressions of generative art. ‘VOIDIS’ On View Now! Returning to Ho Chi Minh City, VOIDIS offers a new way to experience the connection between ourselves and the digital world. Since its first reveal in 2024 at the Ô Exhibition, this piece has been a continuous work in progress, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share its latest evolution with you. In this new iteration, VOIDIS is a real-time generative installation that explores the state of existence within the digital realm. Stemming from the tension between presence and absence, between life and the void, the work invites a contemplation of existence as a continuous process of motion, deconstruction, and reformation. We’ve focused on making the experience more personal. As you step into the environment, the artwork feels your presence. It reacts instantly with generative visuals, creating a real-time dialogue between humanity, nature, and technology. Within VOIDIS, nature is reimagined as a responsive entity. It does not merely wait to be perceived; it “observes” the audience in return. Last week, at the historic Temple of Literature (Vietnam), the EU–Vietnam Sustainable Design Awards 2025 (EVSDA) officially honored standout projects advancing sustainability across Vietnam’s design community. Shoutout to all the outstanding projects. #onthisday Three year ago, in the heart of Saigon, ‘ĐỦ’ Exhibition reached its final day, marking a memorable milestone for Fustic. and more than 27 multidisciplinary artists. In just 05 days, the exhibition welcomed over 10,000 visitors. Across 4 experiential zones and 13 artworks and installations, audiences approached the idea of ‘ĐỦ’ from multiple angles: observing, reflecting, and relating it back to their own experiences. By the end of the journey, each person left with a personal definition of what ‘Fulfillment’ means to them. ‘Fulfillment’ was never a single answer, it was a shared moment of connection. Instead of offering a definitive answer, the exhibition held space for many. Each person moved through the same medium, yet arrived at different interpretations. Then together, we formed a community shaped by diverse emotions, thoughts, and ways of seeing. — A exhibition that people step into artists’ perspectives on ‘fulfillment’ and to leave with a definition of their own. We’re proud to announce that our latest artwork 'The Identity Portrait' made its first appearance at the Meridian Gate, the historical masterpiece in Hue Imperial City. Last October, Fustic. completed the next two stops in An Giang and Can Tho. These stops marked the kick-off of the music festival 'Viettel Y-Fest 2025: Sync of Heart'. Developed by Fustic. in collaboration with Viettel, the interactive generative installation invites audiences to step into the artwork itself. Each visitor’s portrait is captured and turned into a living Mosaic, built from cultural textures unique to each province. This week, as the music festival arrives in the fourth stop, ‘The Identity Portrait’ continues its journey, shaping the stories, materials, and spirit of Ho Chi Minh City. The artwork continues publicly from November 01 to November 16, traveling across Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, and Hai Phong.
