What does a voice look like? VOICE GEMS: 1000 YEAR ARCHIVE is an ongoing project by Grammy Award-winning Harry Yeff (Reeps100) and internationally acclaimed artist Trung Bao, created to preserve some of the world’s most unique and vulnerable voices. Using a generative system, the project harnesses the fingerprint-like features found in the human voice to create one-of-a-kind digital gemstones and physical sculptures — among them Dr Jane Goodall, artist Ai Weiwei, and even the endangered red-shanked carder bee. This evolving project invites us to see voice as more than sound, and to ask: how will future generations remember the voices of today? — Harry Yeff will be performing at this month’s Friday Late, ‘On / Off’, taking place 27 June at V&A South Kensington. Grateful for 2025. In 2025, I found myself moving deeper the in-between of art, industry, institutions, and cultural contexts. What follows is a collection of projects developed this year with generous collaborators, whose commitment helped bring communities, disciplines, and cultures closer together. Each project carries its own perspective and story. I’m deeply grateful for these experiences. +* Selected works / features (2025) • VOICE GEMS ‘Augmenting Voices’ Exhibition presented by PRAX • ‘Agentic Voicing Nature’ Installation Visual Design at the United Nations AI for Good Global Summit • Asprey × VOICE GEMS Exhibition • The Victoria and Albert Museum features VOICE GEMS Mini Documentary • Re.imagine ‘Resonant Augmenta’ Premiered at the United Nations AI for Good Global Summit • ‘Breathe Work’ Live experimental voice and generative art performance • ‘Silent Symphony’ Audiovisual artwork by Fustic., premiered at the Tam Son ‘Intersection of Mastery’ exhibition • VOICE GEMS ‘Voice Megastructure’ Exhibited internationally • VOICE GEMS Awarded Grand Prize at the EU–Vietnam Sustainable Design Award 2025 +*

The world premiere of @re.imagine.vn ‘Resonant Augmenta’ at the United Nations’ ITU AI for Good Global Summit was a success. I’m honored to have directed this performance. The piece unfolds in three movements, with a live quartet and a generative pianist, an evolving intelligence that learns, grows, and ultimately forms a duet. To us, this embodies the essence of creativity: mutual learning, growth, and expression. At a time when the future of human creativity is being questioned, we believe it’s more urgent than ever to embrace new forms of collaboration, to discover new ways of bringing value to people, and to deepen the intimacy within the creative process. That’s why we are drawn to working at the intersection of emerging technology, art, and performance. It’s not only important, it’s also beautiful. Proud of our team for putting Vietnam on the map, bringing Vietnamese media art to the global stage. @fustic.studio @re.imagine.vn @thienminh.violin Special thanks to our amazing collaborators @emilhkleve @heidij.arnesen @birgittaoftestad Dechopol Kowintaweewat @scottishballet @maddycsquire and to @reepsone for the wonderful curation and always have trust in our vision. — Creative Director: Trung Bảo, Hải Doãn, Nam Lê, Thiện Minh Composers: Thiện Minh, Emil Huckle-Kleve Visual Art & Dev: Fustic. Multimedia artist Trung Bao (@tbaocreate ), co-founder of @fustic.studio , is redefining how we preserve memory through his Voice Gems project. By transforming the human voice into digital gemstones and physical sculptures, he seeks to protect unique identities in an era of synthetic saturation. For Trung Bao, technology should be used with care to “keep something deeply human from disappearing” rather than replacing nature. Read the full interview with Trung Bao on the Esquire Vietnam website. Honored to be part of the @eisenhowerfellowships gathering in Vietnam, which brought together nearly 200 leaders, experts, and scholars from 25 countries for two days of exchange, dialogue, and connection. I was grateful to contribute through a talk, a panel discussion on Youth Empowerment, and a performance, where I shared reflections on experimental art, creative technology, voice, identity, and the future of youth culture in the age of AI. Thank you to Eisenhower Fellowships and the Fellows in Vietnam for creating such a meaningful and inspiring event, and for the opportunity to connect with and learn from such a dynamic community across disciplines.

WF-1000XM6 x TRUNG BẢO: Beyond noise, there is intention. My journey begins with sound, and at the core of everything I create is listening. In an age defined by speed, choosing clarity and making room for intention is more powerful than ever. With the Sony WF-1000XM6, sound becomes a path into depth, detail, and new creative worlds. #SonyVietnam #WF1000XM6 #Tinhxaochatam #Chongondocnhat

Studio Trung Bao is an independent practice founded by Trung Bao @tbaocreate , exploring voice, media art, and embodied experimentation through research, exhibition, and performance. Trung Bao is also the founder and creative director of Hanoi-based @fustic.studio , which he continues to lead in parallel, producing high-end media art for brands and institutions. Operating across different scales, the two practices remain in dialogue, allowing methodologies to move non-linearly across spaces and contexts. • Official symbol designed by Yellow Type Foundry @yellow.type
