Inspirations, lately ✨ Source(s): the changing of seasons. spring as a metaphor. new life. crossing borders. critters in my garden beds. the clear and radiant hues of water. all of the small ways you return to me. corner soapboxes. gardening as an act of futurism - as an act of hope. altars. devotion to craft. seeing myself in my people. tenderness carved into stone. the fucking indomitable human spirit.

Almost there - @functionallyvi tracked their last parts on the @alex.j.currie collection and it’s all sounding great! One more session to go, and then on to mixing. What a time. #recordingstudio #princeedwardcounty #vi-ctorious

✨ Look up. Everything you see has a story. In Silent Sky, that story belongs to the women who mapped the stars—often without recognition, but never without brilliance. This breathtaking, intimate production brings the true story of Henrietta Swan Leavitt to life—a woman who changed how we understand the universe… and our place in it. 💫 If you love powerful storytelling, beautiful design, and stories that stay with you long after the lights go down—this is your show. 🎟️ Tickets are already moving—don’t wait until the door (they’ll be $5 more). Secure your seat now and be part of something special. ✨ Come experience the wonder. Come find your place among the stars. 🔗 Tickets: SilentSky.ca 🔗 Support the Reach for the Stars campaign: https://shatterbox-theatre.square.site Show Dates: May 28-30 & June 3-6 #SilentSky #LiveTheatre #SupportLocalTheatre #WomenInSTEM #TheatreMagic #PECEvents #ShatterboxTheatre #SeeTheStars #VisitTheCounty

You’re invited to a Trans Day of Visibility sit spot April 14 at 6pm in collaboration w/ @functionallyvi @theradiatorcollective + the Rest & Resistance exhibit at @proudestponypec 🏳️‍⚧️ - the intention - 🌦️ Get outside 👭 Meet your neighbours 🏳️‍⚧️ Explore trans and gender-queer art, stories and experiences 💗 Be with discomfort - the invitation - Join us for a collective, and curated, experience of Trans Day of Visibility: Rest & Resistance – an art show hosted by Radiator Collective highlighting trans artists in the community and giving them a platform to express their joy, their struggle, and their resilience, followed by a short sit spot at Benson Park. Although #TDOV is celebrated annually on March 31, the exhibit is up until April 26 at Proudest Pony PEC and available to view by appointment. This is an opportunity for group reflection on our gender identity(ies), and our role(s) in systems of oppression that harm trans and gender-queer people – which, in case you haven’t noticed, are surging. Everyone is welcome! Access to the exhibit is free, but we’re encouraging folks to consider making a pay-what-you-can donation. All money donated will be directed to the Queer Prom / @peclibrary Discover Youth LGBTQ+ fundraiser. - the offer - A curated experience of the show with one of the organizers, Vi Woo (they/them), a rad PEC-based, disabled queer artist and musician. Then a chance to sit and reflect on the experience through a short, guided sit spot in nearby Benson Park. - the ask - Bring your curiosity and your willingness to embrace the discomfort of not always knowing or understanding. You listen respectfully to others, are mindful of the space you take, and strive for honesty in what you share. Bring yourself dressed for the weather (rain or shine). COVID is still present in our community. In solidarity with disable and immunocompromised folks in PEC and beyond, masking is strongly encouraged (we’ll have some available) and we ask that you not attend if you are feeling unwell. Show up, even if you feel unsure. ⬇️ Details continued in the comments ⬇️
