I had the pleasure of Set Decorating Park Avenue, a special project starring the uber talented Fiona Shaw and Katherine Waterston. Along with @flemingposts as Production Designer, we started with the completely blank slate of a prewar Manhattan apartment. Director @gabydellal fellow love and extensive knowledge of interiors and art allowed us to create beautifully layered and intricate sets. @lilg75 as Art Director and @the.laila99 as assistant set dec. I watched the film "Marmalade" yesterday. I liked it! Marmalade is a fun, bold, and quirky romantic thriller that goes places you would never expect to in the best way.
The great script by director Keir O'Donnell tells an eccentric story filled with unique characters and injected with a humorous wit. It packs its fair share of charm, suspense, and unconventionality. It's a story of dreams, love, responsibility, crime, and morality.
Joe Keery, Camila Morrone, and Aldis Hodge star in fantastic charismatic performances. Keery & Morrone have absolutely phenomenal chemistry with each other.
The cinematography is superb by Polly Morgan, and it is accompanied by a really good score by Brooke & Will Blair. It's well-edited by Stewart Reeves and has some really cool costume design(Megan Spatz), art direction(Patrick O'Donnell), set decoration(Sally Baker), and production design(Katie Fleming). Keir O'Donnell did a spectacular job directing this original, stylish, and clever thriller that I would recommend.

Inspired by my mother Zehava and many older women who have had a profound impact on my life . Fiona Shaw plays Kit Demille based on a wonderful woman I met in Central Park . To June Leaf who formed so much of this love letter to New York. This film is in honour of women and mothers everywhere.
