Round two from the night Chinatown turned into a living, breathing spark 🧧 The fireworks were the spark and the people were the story. Couples leaning into each other when the strings went off. Friends laughing or in awe through the smoke. Solo enthusiasts embracing the madness. Some watched through their phones. Some ditched the screens and let the flashes light up their faces. I may not have been in @yosemitenps to watch Firefall, but the fire surely did fly in San Francisco 🔥🧧 From 7 to 11p, @sfcma turned into a full-blown, electric, fireworks arena 💥 Rain came and went, but the show continued with a bang. Nothing like standing up close, feeling the boom in your chest, and watching the pyro bros do what they love: inner child, fully activated. Semi-soaked, smoky, slightly deaf… and completely in awe. Peak 🍁 @yosemitenps is something truly extraordinary. The skies were mostly flat during the 2-day solo trip I did, so I found myself chasing color and the shimmering leaves with hues of green turning gold, copper, and crimson along the valley floor.
