MYLES BULLEN
Rainbow colored grief rapper, folk punk princess poet of darkness and glitter. Songs about burying friends, doing drugs, getting sober, existing exuberantly, having a crush on death, and feeling all the feelings. Sharing the stage and studio sessions with the likes of Apes of the State, Friends in Real Life and Codefendants, Myles brings a fun hip hop flavour to folk punk and pushing musical boundaries to solidify themselves as a staple of the scene.
RAIN MCMEY
Rain McMey is an angry, queer, hippie drop-out writing songs about the end of the world. Described as “charmingly sardonic”, “life-affirming nihilism” and “poppy meditation about life on a doomed planet”, they bring late-capitalist despair and punk defiance from their bedroom to the stage.

@acrbrighton will be at the @pigeon.pit show with @cheap_dirty_horse and @elenasirett at @brunswickpub on June 3rd to talk about their upcoming plans to STAND UP TO FASCISM at the @carnivalagainstfascism on June 13th.
They will have a stall and speakers throughout the show so come show your solidarity at the folk punk gig!
A message from them:
Racists in so-called “Patriots” groups are behind the call to march for “mass deportations” in Brighton on June 13. These same groups have been harassing migrant families housed in hotels and attacking people taking down their intimidating flags. We intend to stop them from marching.
We encourage all who oppose the racists to do the same thing using whatever methods they feel comfortable with. We want the day to be a carnival of creativity, a day where everyone feels welcome and it’s a joy to take part. Our beautiful resistance to racist threats to descend on Brighton in August 2024 helped to stop the racist riots that summer. We can do it again this June.

@cheap_dirty_horse will be along as tour support plus opening the night will be @fallowedband a 4-piece mathy emo band from Nottingham. They blend Midwest emo and math rock influences, incorporating technical guitar parts, synth, and emotionally charged vocals. Fallowed has supported the likes of Foxing, DAGS, and Real Terms, and are taking their local emo scene in the East Midlands by storm.
