Thanks so much to everyone who came and played this weekend, thanks so much to @artholecardiff as always, and thanks to those who donated to the raffle. Big love to @dmacymru who I know will put this to good use!
Watch this space, there will more on the horizon!
We still have a few tickets left for “Of Relics and Revenants”, our Vaesen Game with GM Millie! Join us on April 18th @artholecardiff for a day of imagination and dice rolling. All proceeds go to @dmacymru
Vaesen is a Fae Horror Tabletop Roleplaying Game set in a world very similar to our own - except, for the fact that fairies, werewolves, trolls and any creature you can imagine are real. They hide themselves from ordinary society, influencing the world in subtle ways. You play Thursday’s Children, humans blessed with the ability to see these creatures. Many Thursday’s Children see it as their duty to protect the world from Vaesen - and Vaesen from the world, lest the hidden magic be exploited for terrible ends. These threats cannot be fought with strength of arms alone - you must use your cunning and your heart.
All our games are welcome to beginners.

PICTURESKEW
Putting the “post-“ in “folk punk”, Pictureskew is what would have happened if Pigeon Pit went goth instead of country. Once described by a touring band as “like a lil political rally” – immediately before being mistaken for teenagers – they’re back from an extended break with songs that are somehow even more direct and even more cryptic. Still challenging the legitimacy of the state monopoly on violins.
ELENA SIRETT
Elena Sirett (they/them): Elena Sirett is a folk-punk musician from North London specialising in theatrically honest solo acoustic songs. Their work wittily expresses the extreme emotions they experience as someone with borderline personality disorder. Elena also produces events for their project Attention Seekers, where they platform mentally ill, neurodiverse and disabled creatives. On top of that, they are a stage manager and a part of the creative team for Creature immersive.
We are so excited to say that this is our first gig that's sold out!!
Lil reminder that because of licensing regulations for the event we cannot allow U18s in and have it BYOB, so we will be checking IDs on the door! no other characteristic will be looked for.
To free up tickets if you can no longer make it, please contact us with a name or email and we'll refund you no problem.
Remember first set is 7:15, we're ending at 10 and you all gotta be out by 10:30!
Thanks so much to @tynicardiff for hosting us this month! March was wonderful, and April is packed with good things big and small! We have four events in April that you can still get tickets for.
It’s a true honour to create these community spaces, and a pleasure to work with venues like Ty-Ni!
