«Counterattack: Youth» by Gain Amy Park
[Synopsis]
Four high school friends reunite over drinks. What begins as light conversation soon turns to love, marriage, work, and the unspoken pressure of where they feel they should be in life.
Through overlapping dialogue, humour, and moments of honesty, their laughter gives way to the anxieties and realities beneath the surface.
A sharp and intimate conversation piece about friendship, youth, and the things we never quite say out loud.

🚨 BRIGHTON PIGEON PIT SHOW UPDATE
🚨 NOW SOLD OUT
@acrbrighton will be at the @pigeon.pit show with @cheap_dirty_horse and @elenasirett at @brunswickpub on June 3rd to talk about their upcoming plans to STAND UP TO FASCISM at the @carnivalagainstfascism on June 13th.
They will have a stall and speakers throughout the show so come show your solidarity at the folk punk gig!
A message from them:
Racists in so-called “Patriots” groups are behind the call to march for “mass deportations” in Brighton on June 13. These same groups have been harassing migrant families housed in hotels and attacking people taking down their intimidating flags. We intend to stop them from marching.
We encourage all who oppose the racists to do the same thing using whatever methods they feel comfortable with. We want the day to be a carnival of creativity, a day where everyone feels welcome and it’s a joy to take part. Our beautiful resistance to racist threats to descend on Brighton in August 2024 helped to stop the racist riots that summer. We can do it again this June.
The march of the far right ends here. Time to get organised.
