We recently had the pleasure of playing at @seneca.london . It was so so much fun recording this one. Stunning setup and stupidly good sounding booth, it got us locked in from start to finish. Really excited to see where this project goes for them, thanks for having us on! ✧ Link to watch in our bio ✧

We are over the moon to share that our latest mix out on @tm8.club just got today’s @resident_advisor ’s mix of the day. Our inspiration was to create one long winding trip featuring some of our favourite FLINTA* producers. It’s so lovely to hear that this resonated with others. Link to the mix is in our bio x

It’s an honour to invite Bristol based duo Field Case to HTS MIX SERIES 004. In this edition of our series, the pair present a 90 minute, dark and hypnotic ritual with sounds pulled from all across the techno spectrum.. Field Case, as well as being talented DJ’s/producers, are also dedicated to the development of their local scene, both hold residencies at infamous local club nights such as @rtn.return and @queerky._ and have a passion for pushing the sound in Bristol. We look forward to seeing what they get up to next and are grateful for an amazing addition to our mix series. Ōtautahi x Bristol 🖤 Link in bio x @field.case

For this months radio show with @datatransmission , we welcomed @field.case Firmly centred at the heart of Bristol’s growing techno scene, Field Case is the coming together of DJs Petrachore and Ohana. Exploring a range of colourful and percussive textures, the duo experiment with rhythm and deep sounds to create dynamic atmospheres that encourage exploration and freedom of expression. As both residents of RTN and Queerky, the duo have continued to demonstrate their prowess in dance floor manipulation. Their performances have become synonymous with melding broken techno and glitchy bass, circulating the trajectory of the dance floor. The two met by chance in early 2023, to later then form Bristol’s first-ever queer community radio station, Transgression.fm. From differing musical backgrounds and contrasting sonic palettes, their journey together has defined their sound, character and mystery. Expect tracks from: @orbe__ @mike_parker_geophone @_tauceti_ @fergus.sweetland @psyk____ and more! Link to the mix is now up on our Soundcloud in case you missed it! (link in bio)

We’ve just released our opening set from last Friday, you can now listen back via our SoundCloud. A huge thank you again to everyone who came down. It was one of our favourite sets to play, a particularly calming, locked-in moment before the storm that followed later in the night .We hope it eased you in nicely and set the tone for what was to come x And finally a massive thank you to @kangding_ray and @laimaadelaide for giving us everything they had, we couldn’t have been happier. Almost a month ago now we were invited by the @theislandvenuebristol to join their feature in @crackmagazine shot by @irenehacefotos . The past year we’ve felt ever-more connected to this space and the people apart of it. We’re really happy to see this space and its team get the attention they deserve. It’s Bristol’s best kept-secret, always leaving us wanting more, and we’re so excited to share future plans here in the rest of this year x

Over the past few years, we have grown from a raw idea. A place for energy, connection, and forward-thinking sounds. As we’ve evolved, so has our vision. It’s time for the next chapter. RTN now stands for Return. Return to presence. Return to community. Return to expression. This isn’t just a rebrand, it’s a realignment. The same crew, the same ethos. Now more intentional. More connected. Our upcoming events will carry this spirit forward, with the same energy you know and love, just refined, redefined, and ready for what’s next. Return. RTN.

Bristol-based duo Field Case share a winding mix for us, snaking through slow-burning rhythms, meditative beats, and mystical soundscapes, exploring the deepest and most cerebral shades of techno. DJs @petrach0re and @ohana_o_o are behind Field Case and began the project after meeting by chance in early 2023. They then formed Bristol’s first-ever queer community radio station, Transgression.fm, to showcase artists in the city’s creative realm. These days, @field.case are residents of Bristol events RTN and Queerky, where they continue to meld their differing musical backgrounds and sonic palettes. Their journey together has defined their sound, character and mystery, and we’re delighted to share a taster of that on this week’s mix. ‧₊˚🖇️✩ Hear the mix via the link in bio.
