Mike Parker and Clarisa Kimskii’s careers jointly stretch nearly half a century. Their unwavering dedication to the genre has cemented their legendary reputations. The two artists from the US join us for their Bristol debut at the top of their craft. @mike_parker_geophone Since stepping onto the scene in ‘97, Mike Parker has built a reputation that precedes him in every room he enters: hypnotic, ritualistic and unmistakable. Over the past few years, we have grown from a raw idea. A place for energy, connection, and forward-thinking sounds. As we’ve evolved, so has our vision. It’s time for the next chapter. RTN now stands for Return. Return to presence. Return to community. Return to expression. This isn’t just a rebrand, it’s a realignment. The same crew, the same ethos. Now more intentional. More connected. Our upcoming events will carry this spirit forward, with the same energy you know and love, just refined, redefined, and ready for what’s next. Return. RTN.

RTN is a community for all. Respecting the space and everyone in it is fundamental. We wanted to share our thoughts on how, collectively, we can foster an environment that encourages expression and experimentation. Whether it be the way you present, the way you dance, your sexuality, your gender, our events are a safe space for all.

For the 3rd edition of SND, we’ve invited London based producer and DJ @tsibo_ . Shifting through layers of techno, electronica, IDM, and ambient, Tsibo crafts a sound that explores rhythm, atmosphere, and abstraction. Featured at venues such as Corsica Studios, About Blank, Six DOGS, Astron, and more, his sets move fluidly between intensity and introspection. Link in bio

We’re still processing what happened on Saturday, it felt like time folded in on itself. From the first pulse to the final note at sunrise, every artist carved their own space yet connected through one shared current. Sorcery and Rommek pushed intensity to the edge, a true demonstration of rhythm and force. Öspiel’s live Bristol debut brought a cinematic depth that felt suspended between tension and movement. Livid and Surgeon’s Girl took us through two contrasting yet interwoven worlds: dark and radiant, hypnotic and human. And our RTN residents Field Case, Ceegal, and Rhobo held the thread throughout, guiding the night from the familiar into the unknown. A massive thanks to everyone who stepped into our world for half a day. No screens, no distractions, just connections, shared energy and expression at its purest. Together we are trying to build something special, a glimpse of what community through sound can feel like. Huge gratitude to all the volunteers, the staff, and The Island for helping us forge this moment. This one reminded us why we do it and brings new imagination as to what is possible in Bristol. Thank you for being part of it.

Stepping into the booth together for the first time in Bristol, we witness two distinct forces in techno merge: Sorcery B2B Rommek. Berlin’s Sorcery will channel their breathing machine rhythms, tactile, raw, and emotive, alongside Rommek’s dense world of broken patterns and charged atmospheres. Together, they forge a dialogue of elastic percussion and jaw breaking pressure. Pioneers in uncompromising sound. 04–04–26 | The Island

Introducing the artists joining us across 12 hours at The Island - 4th April | @sorcery_music B2B @rommek_ | For the first time, Berlin’s Sorcery goes back-to-back with London’s Rommek. Both artists are known for their experimental, high-impact sound design, sharp percussion, forceful low-end pressure, and uncompromising energy. This debut pairing promises a charged exchange of styles, where intensity meets intensity. | @oe.spiel | Öspiel’s live performance channels a contemporary vision of techno: cinematic in scope, atmospheric in detail, and meticulously crafted in execution. For their UK debut expect immersive soundscapes that unfold with intention, blending expansive textures with driving rhythmic foundations. Their approach balances emotional depth with dancefloor focus, creating a live experience that feels both introspective and powerful. | @livid0 | Livid explores the darker, more textured edges of techno. With an emphasis on layered sound design and brooding atmospheres, her sets blur the line between industrial grit and hypnotic flow. Expect deep, resonant low-end pressure, evolving sonic detail, and a carefully sculpted narrative that unfolds steadily across the dancefloor. After a standout performance back in September, we knew we had to bring her back for more. | @sinead_surgeonsgirl | Known for her shimmering synth work, Surgeon’s Girl crafts emotionally charged productions that balance delicacy with drive. Her sound unfolds with patience and precision, layering melody and rhythm in a way that feels both expansive and intimate. Joining them are RTN residents Field Case, Ceegal and Rhobo. Twelve hours. Seven distinct approaches. One extended Bank Holiday session dedicated to techno in its most expressive and evolving form. 04-04-2026 | @theislandvenuebristol
