Weeks posts
The week of International Women's Day is always one of the busiest weeks of the year for me. This year was no exception. I've managed to squeeze in two big shoots and two public speaking gigs this week. But most importantly, I've had so many valuable conversations. After my speech at @skytv with @kingstrust on Tuesday, I had very rewarding conversations around the importance of using storytelling for social good and changing the narrative. On @iamlaurajackson and @sharmadeanreid breakfast event on Thursday, we talked about the importance of removing stigma around discussing money with other female entrepreneurs, how to combat loneliness and finding a tribe of people who has your back during all the highs and lows. Yesterday, I took photos of @womenschapter IWD panel discussion (photos to come!) and loved listening to all the vulnerable conversations around menstrual health, IVF, breaking gender roles and how to find the strength to keep going. We are currently living in very uncertain times politically and financially, but being in rooms of people who are all working towards making the world more inclusive and peaceful gives me hope to continue to work towards equity in all forms ❤️ Thank you so much @indiabharadwaj for taking the first 6 photos during @kingstrust Brilliant Breakfast with @iamlaurajackson and @sharmadeanreid for the Change A Girl's Life campaign

This week, a big dream of mine came true. I had an outdoor exhibition by South Bank in London, with a charity whose work strongly aligns with my beliefs and values. This opportunity means a lot to me for many reasons. Firstly, I've learnt so much about Smile Train's work. The models' bravery to show vulnerability and inspiring others to gain confidence is truly heartwarming. To see them getting more and more comfortable with their smiles during the photoshoots has been incredibly rewarding. To have an exhibition by South Bank means so much to me on a personal level. I moved to England 7 years ago without my family, without friends, and I definitely didn't know anyone here who could help me with my career. As a child and teenager in Sweden, I always dreamt of moving to London and working as a photographer. I was told countless times that it wasn't possible, it's too competitive, and I didn't have any connections. As a young girl, many people assumed that I didn't have the right technical skills, which is tough when working in a male dominated field. I've felt lost many times, but I've worked hard, and I've built my career from scratch. I am so so grateful for everyone I've met who's supported me and who continues to help me grow and trust me with their amazing ideas. It's moments like these that make all the hard work totally worth it. I feel very grateful and very proud. Thank you @smiletrainuk and @thephagroup for this amazing opportunity, and thank you for all the love the past few days. It really means a lot ❤️ 📸 Stewart Williams

Thank you so much, @kingstrust , for inviting me to Buckingham Palace for your 50th Anniversary Garden Party yesterday. Back in March 2020, at the start of COVID, I completed their Enterprise Programme to set up my photography business. It was the beginning of my journey to fulfil my dream, and it gave me the confidence I needed to take the leap to become a full-time freelancer. 6 years later, I am still doing what I love, and I am forever grateful for the support they have given me throughout the years. I spent 3 years volunteering as one of their young ambassadors (and yes, it is still my face that greets you when you go to the King’s Trust website! 👀), which gave me many valuable connections and friendships. It was lovely to reconnect with so many fellow ambassadors, mentors and staff members from the King’s Trust at the palace yesterday. What a memorable day!

Gemma and Hetal, April 2026 ✨ Two weeks ago, I went up to Manchester, to capture Gemma and Hetal in their element at Culture Camp. It’s rare to find leaders who truly walk the talk, but the space these two create with @heartleadership_ and Culture Camp, is something special. They moved beyond surface-level "culture" to host honest, raw and inspiring talks during a full-day conference around Diversity and Inclusion in workspaces (and how to avoid tokenism!). From the nuances of neurodiversity and the power of inclusive language, to the systemic realities of classism and ableism, no stone was left unturned. Seeing them lead the room through such vital, complex discussions with empathy and clarity was as inspiring to watch as it was to photograph. Thank you for having me. I am forever grateful to work with like-minded people who keep inspiring me. ❤️

It's been a week already since the launch of @airandgrace new sneakers, in collaboration with @karenmillen_obe . All the money from this shoe goes to the charity @teensunitefightingcancer which Karen Millen co-founded. It's a charity supporting children and teenagers who've been diagnosed with cancer. It was a wonderful event celebrating this new collaboration at @claridgeshotel While capturing these photos I overheard many important conversations highlighting the cause. Thank you @airandgrace for having me 📷😊

Yesterday, it was the launch day of @airandgrace new sneakers in collaboration with @karenmillen_obe , in aid of @teensunitefightingcancer . Last May, I was invited to capture the whole process of designing this shoe. It was really interesting on a personal level to see what happens behind the scenes of a shoe company, and it was lovely to see the collaboration. I've had to keep this shoot a secret for nearly a year and I'm so excited to share the photos now. Yesterday, I attended the launch of the shoe at @claridgeshotel and will share photos from there next week. Until then, I recommend going to @airandgrace website to see the final result. All the money from this sneaker goes to @teensunitefightingcancer , a charity providing a community and safe space for teenagers living with cancer. Please support their work in any way you can ❤️

Working with young people brings me so much joy, and I am fortunate to regularly work with charities who aim to make the world a better and fairer place. As it's International Women's Month, I want to highlight one of my clients who's doing the import work for girls and young women: @youngwomenstrust . In January, they held an event at the Houses of Parliament, and I was invited to capture it all. It was an afternoon highlighting the trust's work to tackle discrimination towards young women in the workforce. Many MPs were present, and The Minister for Employment Rights, Kate Dearden MP, gave a speech about how the government plans to ensure new rights are protected and enforced. It was very inspiring to see that hard work pays off, and that change can happen when you reach the people who can really do something about the discrimination marginalised people face. If you know anyone who would benefit from their services, I highly recommend going to Young Women's Trust's website
