Grace Whiteside and their collaborative team will perform a live iteration of their ongoing hot-glass puppet show called “The Inflatables.” The Inflatables features a “cast” of anthropomorphized molten glass puppets chosen for a “Dating Experiment” where their amorphous bodies hold hands, play party games, lounge by the pool, and perform reckless behavior. In order to be on the show, the contestants have to forgo having a stagnant forever body, leaning into an uncanny life of ambiguity and freedom. But, this new identity does not come without its challenges.
🎟️Each ticket buyer will receive a glass blown cup made by the Brooklyn Glass Team. Tickets are available at Brooklynglass.com (link in bio), get yours before they’re gone! 🎟️

anyone need a custom closet or bookcase or wooden furniture?
i know many of you have asked over the years, at moments when Jörg was already.over-committed, but he’s now accepting private clients.
our closet, pictured here, was inspired by Sonia Delaunay’s closet - 2nd image - featured in this photograph taken by Lothar Wolleh in 1978.
it’s hard to imagine what 1939 felt like, but this photo of Frida Kahlo with her fawn Granizo gives me another way to imagine then, and consequently now. 118th / 115th universe-birthday wishes from FK to FK 🌌
Posting this a bit late!! This new work of mine is currently on view in “The Unknown and Its Poetics” @kinosaito - this thoughtfully organized exhibition, curated by @adrian_bara is on view thru 21 Dec 2025, and was just featured in @hyperallergic ‘s “15 Art Shows to See in Upstate New York This Summer”.

last week: the Kings of Judah from @museecluny
Île-de-France, around 1220
Lutetian limestone, traces of polychromy
“Formerly situated on the western facade portals of Notre Dame Cathedral, these kings are considered the ancestors of the Virgin Mary, in keeping with the Marian iconography of the Western facade. They can also symbolize the genealogy of the kings of France, which explains why they were removed and buried in 1793, during the French Revolution. In 1839, some fifteen backward-facing statues were found supporting a wall surrounding a coal market located on rue de la Santé in Paris. Then in 1977, more than 300 pieces, including these 21 heads of the Kings of Judah, were found being reused as construction material under the courtyard and stables of the hôtel Moreau, headquarters of a former bank, located at 20 rue de la Chaussée-d’Antin in Paris.”
made from the limestone aggressively mined below Paris, almost collapsing the city in the late 18th century, the cavities to be refilled with the bones of millions of Parisians, called the Catacombs of Paris.
