The Press Gallery exhibition @oldparliamenthouse is now open and it really feels like stepping back in time. Walking through the restored press offices and studios where political stories were once filed between 1927 and 1988 gives such an incredible glimpse into the history of Australian journalism and the people who shaped it.

Up in the skies (and the cockpits) today at the @canberra_airport Open Day 2026!
Such a special experience getting up close and inside so many aircraft, from @qantas and @virginaustralia to @linkairwaysau@pelicanaustralia@ausairforce and more. Being able to sit in the cockpits and see everything firsthand was unreal.
The air displays were absolutely next level.
The Roulettes and aerobatic performances had everyone looking up.
Plus great to visit the @vibehotels@vibecanberra team for some fun and games.
The @ausborderforce dogs put on a great performance.

Earlier this week we had such a great time at the @canberracomedy gala, it was the perfect snapshot of so many brilliant comedians all in one place. It’s such a fun way to experience a mix of styles and talent in one night.
Tonight we’re off to see @samtaunton and couldn’t be more excited. We’re making a night of it and heading to @pizzeriaofficina beforehand, which we already know is going to be delicious.

We watched the balloons from the @nationalarboretumcanberra today and it was pure magic. There was barely any wind, so they drifted slowly across the sky.
@visitcanberra really spoils you with so many vantage points to take it all in, but @nationalarboretumcanberra has to be one of the best.
One more day, people - get there.
One of the first groups to experience the new Anzac Atrium @awmemorial and it was nothing short of striking. Dining in a space surrounded by history with a Black Hawk, Australian Light Armoured Vehicle and F-111 looking on is incredibly special.
We were also given a rare sneak peek into the not yet reopen Anzac Hall, housing G for George.
The menu by @trippaswhitegroup matched the setting. BBQ braised beef short rib with gremolata, Asian style chargrilled chicken marylands, and Thai style snapper and lobster with coconut bisque. Autumn vegetables with fava and yellow pea puree brought balance, while sides like patatas bravas, spiced cauliflower blossom, kale salad and marinated feta rounded out the table.
Dessert was passionfruit curd tartlets, beetroot pavlova and a rich chocolate ganache tart with hazelnut praline cream.

Just minutes from the heart of Canberra, we stepped into a different world with @canberrastargazing
Under a sky untouched by city lights, Alexei guided us on a captivating journey.
With nothing but our eyes at first, we traced constellations while stories of science, mythology and the universe unfolded.
The telescope revealed (quite remarkably) distant planets, glowing clusters and galaxies far beyond what we could imagine.
A laser pointer mapped the sky as Alexei pointed out the stars.
Wrapped in cosy blankets with comforting hot chocolate in a very comfy and hugging chair, for 90 minutes, the universe felt a little less mysterious and just a tad bit closer..
An unforgettable experience.
