We headed to the Splash Lab in Mitchell, where splatter painting is the whole point and there are absolutely no rules about staying inside the lines.
From flicking and throwing to however else you can think of making a mess, it’s less about being “good” at art and more about having a seriously fun time!
And the best part for you neat freaks at home… all of the mess stays in the room and on the canvas!

Just experienced @visitcanberra first and only splatter paint studio @splashlabcanberra and it did not disappoint. No rules, no pressure, no skills needed. Just 60 minutes of pure creative chaos in a paint covered suit, armed with brushes, syringes and bold colours.
It’s messy, it’s loud, it’s unexpectedly therapeutic and honestly so much fun. Perfect for family time, a hot date, a group hang or just blowing off steam in the most colourful way possible.
Located inside Riddle Room in Mitchell, Splash Lab is an absolute must if you’re after something different in Canberra.
We didn’t try the GLOW LAB this time, but we’d love to give it a go. Highly recommend.
