10 years sober today🥂
Here’s a brief letter with some thoughts and an old pic for the algorithm.
For everyone who’s ever given me even a moment of your time, thank you so much—I know there is nothing more precious.
Just Cause is an opportunity to showcase some of what we believe to be the most vital voices from all corners of the music world and raise some money for necessary, crucial causes. All of the proceeds from this compilation and any compilation we do in the future will be donated to organizations we believe in deeply—the proceeds from this first compilation will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
We are thrilled to share new singles from whait (Wendy Eisenberg & more eaze), MIZU, LEYA, Lucy Liyou, Lia Kohl, and Angels & Demons (Amirtha Kidambi & Darius Jones) today ahead of the release of the full compilation this Friday on July 12th!

Lucy Liyou’s massively ambitious, stunning, hilarious, and devastating album MR COBRA is out now 🐍🐍
Lucy shared some of the first audio clips of this album probably a little over three years ago, and it has grown into one of the most impressive multimedia projects and performances I’ve ever seen.
It’s an album worthy of the unbelievable show it accompanies—the performance at @performance.space.new.york was earth shattering ❤️ thank you so much to Taja for stewarding Lucy and so much forward thinking art. Thank you so much to @orangemilkrecords for the unblinking support of Lucy’s vision always.

A very nice return from the holy road! Lucky and happy to receive time honored absolutely insane BNM from Pitchfork featuring great words from @greenejayson to boot. Can scarcely believe it; when Evan showed it to me last night I literally stumbled backward in a more positive Dutch angle. I hope this means this work of love @more_eaze@ryans_riddim@dunnatov and I made can reach even more willing hearts.

It’s here little Wendy! @wendyeyes new, self-titled masterpiece is finally out today.
At the end of 2023, Wendy & I went to Northlandz on a whim and I think it ended up literally reconfiguring our brain chemistries (see: slide 3). 2+ years later the album in part inspired by how life has changed since looking at those little trains is here for the world. Many of the tracks therein are some of my favorite songs ever written by anyone. I’ve thought & written (see: slide 2) a lot about this music over the last two years and every second has been a joy.
