Brooklyn-based artists Wendy Eisenberg & More Eaze bring their unique and expansive musical practices to Wave Archive! Eisenberg is a guitarist and improviser whose work spans folk, art-rock, jazz, and free improv, and just released their new, eponymous album. The violinist and pedal-steel player More Eaze blends ambient pop, folk, and musique concrete; her new album 'Sentence Structure in the Country' was just released on Thrill Jockey.

Mike Meanstreetz is a LA based improviser whose non-traditional craft seeds new genres while reaping the fallen fruit of old. Sonically his practice explores and expands upon both genre adjascent sensibilities and more fluid extended techniques via drums/percussion, tape/electronics, and nylon string guitar. In these various modes he has performed throughout the US, Mexico, Canada and Europe.
Via electro-acoustic scrape and jump cut, or feeding signals into ecstatic hum, or mulling shards of detritus from previous live action, James Fella is deft at various methods of sonic entanglement. (John Wiese) James also operates Gilgongo Records in Phoenix AZ

A night Tucson won't forget for a long time as Victoria Shen and Greg Saunier pummeled and wowed the packed Wave Archive room. We can't wait to have Evicshen back again someday.
We released "Orange Blossoms" music video a week ago and the people who came out for that were amazing. We had a packed venue @wavearchive and so many beautiful performers.

@evicshen at @wavearchive for the Tucson Noise Symposium (cf. @algaeandtentacles ). Come out to this talk before the @desertdronetucson show in the evening! Victoria Shen is a sound artist, experimental music performer, and instrument-maker based in San Francisco.
Shen's sound practice is concerned with the spatiality/physicality of sound and its relationship to the human body. Her music features analog modular synthesizers, vinyl/resin records, and self-built electronics. Eschewing conventions in harmony and rhythm in favor of extreme textures and gestural tones, Shen uses what she calls "chaotic sound" to oppose signal and information, eluding traditionally embedded meaning.
