Explore our new Polaroids from the “Framing Inclusion” series. Today’s pictures and messages show how inclusion is experienced in everyday moments, being able to play, participate, and express oneself freely, without hesitation. For some, it’s about feeling comfortable; for others, it’s about visibility and safety. For everyone, it’s about existing without the fear of being authentic. Swipe to read their words. 🔙 Recap: SAFE Project Kick-Off in Brussels Last month, EGLSF and our partners in the SAFE project gathered in Brussels for the official kick-off. Coordinated by European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation, the initiative focuses on creating safer and more inclusive grassroots sport environments across Europe 🛡️ Over two days, partners connected in person, exchanged ideas, and aligned on the project’s vision 🤝 SAFE aims to shift how staff and volunteers approach safeguarding by developing practical tools and learning formats. What’s next? ✔️ Collecting good practices from partners ✔️ Developing and testing the SAFE toolkit ✔️ Creating a micro-learning app We are excited to be part of this journey and help shape safer sport spaces — stay tuned! ✨ #SAFEproject #GrassrootsSport #Safeguarding #EGLSF #EUprojects

The wait is over! We are incredibly proud to officially share the very first pictures from our campaign “Framing Inclusion”. We asked participants what inclusion in sport truly means to them and how it feels. In these first few Polaroids, a beautiful, unifying theme immediately emerged: true inclusion is about finding a safe space to be your true self. It is the freedom to play and express your feelings without fear of judgment, and the power to be heard, supported, and unapologetically yourself without having to fit into any expected standards. Swipe through the graphics to see the faces, emotions, and read the notes from our community. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 #𝘍𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯? Last week’s decision by the International Olympic Committee marks a concerning step backwards for inclusion in sport. On the International Transgender Day of Visibility, we reaffirm what sport should stand for: dignity, safety, and equal access for all. The EuroGames will continue to uphold inclusive participation policies — and that will not change. We stand with transgender and intersex communities today and every day. #TransDayOfVisibility #InclusionInSport #Equality #EuroGames

What does inclusion in sport feel like? Last month, at the EGLSF Annual General Assembly, we asked participants this simple question and invited them to answer not just with words, but with expression and emotions. Through our “Framing Inclusion” campaign, we captured instant moments on Polaroid film: faces, gestures, and handwritten reflections that together form a collective portrait of inclusion across our community. Watch the video and stay tuned for what came out of it. 📸📽️ Tina Šmid #FramingInclusion #LGBTIQSport #EGLSF #InclusiveSport @engsoyouth @eurogamescdf2027 @gaygames @polaroid @prideandsports @worldpride2026 @ilgaeurope @ilgaworld

Sport can play an important role in helping young people feel connected and supported, but that’s not always the case for queer youth. During the EGLSF General Assembly in Rotterdam, the QYOUTH-PEACE project brought together youth workers from across Europe to reflect on this and share practical ways to make sport more inclusive. Participants exchanged experiences, explored new approaches, and discussed how to create safer, more welcoming spaces for everyone. Thanks to everyone who took part and contributed to the conversations. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯.
