He uses art and visual language, from photography to design, to tell stories and make complex, high-impact topics more accessible. --- The project “The Colour of Quiet” explores the threshold as a liminal space between tension and reassurance, reflecting on contemporary uncertainty and the role of images as a refuge. Through pastel-toned photographs and intimate, everyday settings, it conveys a sense of quietness crossed by subtle tensions and ongoing transformations. In this suspended space between past and future, it invites viewers to pause and observe what happens “in between,” where adaptation and transformation become possible. ✨

LANDINGS 2026 Landings 2026 brings together an international collective of MA photography students from Falmouth University. This project is a collaboration of practitioners committed to visual storytelling and contemporary image-making based on critical practice. As part of the collective’s engagement with global issues, the group marked Earth Day — the annual international event dedicated to environmental protection — through a series of photographic responses. These works address themes such as climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss, reflecting a commitment to raising awareness and provoking dialogue through visual practice. Over the coming days, LANDINGS 2026 will introduce a selection of participating artists, offering insight into the diverse perspectives and practices that shape the collective. A month ago, I joined two very different events centred on inclusion in health and in sport. At the European Parliament, during the launch of European Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month 2026 with @dice.europe , the focus was on how to reach people, especially younger people, earlier through better screening and prevention, ultimately saving lives. A few days later, in Rotterdam, at the @eglsf Assembly, I used instant photography to capture how people experience inclusion in sport, in their own words and expressions.
