We're so excited to reveal that the animals will be taking over the Sydney Harbour Bridge for @vividsydney ❤️ It is a beautiful responsibility and honour to represent Australia's wildlife on one of the world’s most recognisable landmarks. Our animated illumination, Between You and Me, explores Australia’s habitats, from our own backyards to our most endangered ecosystems, bringing us closer to the species that surround us. Along with illuminating the iconic pylons, interactive augmented reality animals will come to life at the base of the projection. We have worked alongside the most incredible scientists to create an immersive experience to renew our sense of connection. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The city will light up for Vivid Sydney from the 26th of May - 17th of June and we can't wait. #vividsydney

The flock takes over Parliament House ❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It is with immense happiness that we share with you that the animals will take the stage this Friday night, 3rd of March, illuminating the façade of the Australian Parliament House as part of @enlighten_canberra . Chris has poured his heart into a 6-minute animation featuring the changing seasons of Canberra and the species found in the gardens of Parliament House, including critically endangered and future endangered birds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have had the privilege of collaborating with the most amazing scientists, naturalists and music producers. ❤️ Our animated projection features original soundscape and music created by the infinitely talented Dr. @_annjones_ and music producer @haguecorey . In collaboration with Dr. Michael Mulvaney, we have captured the subtle changes of the Brittle Gums throughout the seasons and we unveil the insects that rely on the flowering gums. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We hope you all love this as much as we do. Being able to bring our work to people who hold so much responsibility for the future in their hands, in a world that needs repair, is incredibly significant to us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Switch On night is this Friday at 8pm. The animation will be on every night between the 3-13 of March, between 8pm-11pm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A heartfelt thank you to the team at @parliamenthousecanberra and @the_electric_canvas for their incredible support.

A bucket list moment. ❤️ We had the honour of filming with @_annjones_ (we ❤️ you, Ann!) for an upcoming episode about Sydney’s urban birds for ABC TV’s Catalyst. Ann and the incredible team met us at our new Birds of Lewisham mural to talk all things birds, art and science.   ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This flock was commissioned by the fabulous residents of this house as part of the @innerwestcouncil Perfect Match program. Having lived in the Inner West for nearly a decade, we were over the moon! The mural features local species they see in and around their home and is a reminder that we are not alone in our cities, and that is a wonderful thing.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Super special thanks to the endlessly talented @emiels for joining us for this mural, to our dear friends Stephanie and Amy from @outer.island and to Dominique from ABC.   ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We hope this mural brings everyone endless joy. ❤️   ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mural photos by our favourite @robertwphoto , filming day shots by Catalyst and progress shots by @outer.island

Bloom is here ❤️ We are so excited to share what we’ve been working on over the past few months. Our new exhibition, Bloom, at @m16artspace honours the lives of animals, plants and fungi from around the world living within environments shaped by colonisation, human conflict and the ongoing impacts of climate inaction. It holds us to account for the responsibility we carry and what it means to coexist in an uncertain world. Thank you M16 for giving our work a space to exist and to the incredible scientists, dear friends, who helped shape it. We love you all so much @lalo_navarroce @a1eguerra @nicolagos_s @vero_semillero @drapazexplora @mwtingley @uncle_maddog Bloom opens on the 16th of April at @m16artspace Join us for opening night from 6–8pm ❤️ Featured in the images are the Palestine Sunbird and Striped Alkanet, Picaflor de Juan Fernández and Col de Juan Fernández, Green Carpenter Bee and Common Wedge Pea and Flannel Flower. Thank you to the one and only @ash.stgeorge for capturing it all.  We can’t wait to share this exhibition with you. M16 Artspace

Celebrating our multiculturalism ❤️ We’re so honoured to have been commissioned to create the gates for this year’s National @multicultural.festival ‘The Homes Within Us’ celebrates the gathering of cultures, imagined through birds from across the world. From our homes in Chile and Australia to birds from every continent, we hope you find one that carries a piece of your homeland. Home is something we carry and we hope these birds are reminders of the places, memories and stories that travel with us.  The gate celebrates the meeting of many worlds, where each of our stories is part of the beautiful diversity of who we are. Find the installation from the 6–8 February in Canberra City Centre, corner of Bunda St and Akuna St ❤️ @wearecbr @visitcanberra @this.is.canberra

Last year, amongst all the beautiful chaos, I sat down with our dearest friend @avondissanayake for our very first podcast. We talked about how nature has shaped me, where my love for birds began, the endangered bird that broke my heart, growing up and not giving up my love for animals. So here’s a little extract. ❤️ The full version is on YouTube, linked in our highlights. Thank you for the safe space, Avon. We love you to bits.

Back in Australia ❤️ Spending time with the scientists and the people who protect the irreplaceable animals we love across Chile and Australia reinforced something we have felt for a long time: the future of conservation is collaboration. Hearing their research, challenges and hopes side by side in Santiago made it clear how aligned our two countries are. The issues we face, from habitat loss to climate pressures and species decline, do not stop at borders, and neither should the solutions. Bringing these conversations together showed how much knowledge and experience can be shared when we work collectively, and what a force we can be together in protecting these animals and the landscapes that still hold them. Lighting up La Moneda and seeing scientists, conservationists and thousands of people come together with a shared purpose made it clear that collaboration is not just ideal, it’s essential. We came back profoundly moved and full of admiration for our friends, fierce protectors of the places they call home, and we cannot wait to see you all again. I hope this has moved you. I hope it inspires you to connect and protect. And above all, I hope it helps raise public support for the animals and the places they call home, so their stories are seen, felt and shared beyond La Moneda. Thank you once again to our incredible team, to @_annjones_ and @haguecorey , to @delight_lab_oficial , @janegoodallcl , @diadelafaunacl , @ausembcl and @embchileaustralia , and to everyone who supported this project and supported us throughout its making. We have uploaded the full animation for everyone on our YouTube channel. This weekend in Canberra, we will be at @handmadecanberra , our favourite space to gather, share art and start conversations about the animals you all love. See you soon. La naturaleza primero, siempre. ❤️ Photos & videos by Slide 3, 5, 6, 11: @luis_bahamondes Slide 4 @luisrogeliog Slide 2 thank you @canberratimes

Gracias, Chile ❤️ Esto es lo más lindo que nos ha pasado. How can we possibly explain what this felt like? Projecting in our home country for the very first time, onto La Moneda, the Presidential Palace, and watching the animals of Chile and Australia fill that space while hundreds of people gathered in the plaza.  Created for Día de la Fauna Chilena and as part of the commemoration of 80 years of diplomatic relations between Chile and Australia, to celebrate two countries, two ecosystems, our two homes. Every frame was created with love for the landscapes that formed us and for the irreplaceable animals that inhabit them. Our deepest gratitude to the @ausembcl , to @qantas , to @janegoodallcl , @embchileaustralia and to everyone behind @diadelafaunacl for making this possible. To @_annjones_ and @haguecorey , dearest friends and collaborators of every animated project.  And to the brilliant team at @delight_lab_oficial , working with you was an absolute privilege. Fue soñado. Por muchos proyectos más juntos, por todo Chile. ❤️ Thank you, Chile, for welcoming this project with such love. We hope this is just the beginning. La Moneda ❤️ Presidential Palace of Chile After more than a decade in Australia, we are here in Chile, in the place where it all began, carrying everything this journey has given us: new ways of seeing, listening, and breathing with nature. To have the honour of illuminating La Moneda, the Presidential Palace, is something I can’t quite grasp. A building that holds so much history, and now, for a brief moment, will hold our light too. A few days ago, I stood in front of La Moneda, soaking it all in. My heart was beating in all directions, filled with gratitude, disbelief and love. This project is a homecoming, a conversation between two worlds that have shaped who we are. From the blooming desert of the Atacama to the Australian rainforest, this work celebrates our two homes and the irreplaceable animals that inhabit them. It is our longest animation ever, and every frame carries a wish that people will fall in love again with the life that surrounds us and fiercely protect it. Created to celebrate the Day of the Chilean Fauna and to mark 80 years of diplomatic relations between Chile and Australia, this projection will come to life on November 7 and 8, from 8pm to 10pm, on the façade of La Moneda facing Alameda. This project has been made possible thanks to the Embassy of Australia in Chile @ausembcl , @qantas and the support of the @embchileaustralia Endless gratitude to our incredible team, to our dear Ann @_annjones_ and Corey @haguecorey whose music and soundscape shape this entire piece. To the brilliant team at @janegoodallcl for creating @diadelafaunacl ,one of the country’s most significant environmental education initiatives, and to everyone who poured their hearts into bringing this to life. The biggest thank you to @delight_lab_oficial for being a part of it. From our two homes, with love,
Cami & Chris ❤️

Tracing the Sky ❤️ Our most beloved exhibition, created in collaboration with our dearest @anispintora is on the move. This project celebrates the wetlands of Chile and Australia and the migratory journeys they sustain, both of birds and of people. It reflects on what it means to migrate, what we carry with us when we do, and what we hold onto as we build a new life. Like the birds that cross skies and oceans, we too follow unseen routes shaped by instinct, hope and memory. We carry languages, identities and stories. Sometimes we search for refuge. Other times, we become it. These works honour the intimate act of carrying home within ourselves, and how we are in many ways akin to birds. Thank you to everyone who joined us for opening night, for sharing your stories that became part of our exhibition, for coming to our Wonder Walks at the wetlands to learn about the Latham’s Snipe journey and the habitats that sustain us, and for taking part in our workshops. Thank you to Lori Gould and @asociacionambientesur for being part of this exhibition and for everything you do for the birds. The biggest thank you to @craft_design_canberra , @diracchile and @embchileaustralia for helping us bring it all to life. The exhibition is now on display at Canberra Airport @canberra_airport , with a selection of works available to view until mid-November. The catalogue will be released soon in our newsletter, stay tuned! 💖 We’re now heading to Chile to celebrate Día de la Fauna Chilena and to be with the birds. Online shop deliveries will resume the week of November 17. Captured by our favourite @ash.stgeorge

Chile ❤️ Every year, Día de la Fauna Chilena celebrates the incredible animals that call Chile home. Founded in 2014 by volunteers of the Jane Goodall Institute Chile, it has become one of the country’s most significant environmental education initiatives, connecting people with Chile’s native wildlife and inspiring action for their protection. It stands as a beautiful part of the lasting legacy of Dr. Jane Goodall, carrying forward her vision of a world where animals and the landscapes they inhabit are fiercely loved and protected. This year, we have had the honour of working with @janegoodallcl and @diadelafaunacl to create an animation that takes you on a journey across Chile’s unique landscapes and celebrates the extraordinary animals that inhabit them. From the Puma in Patagonia to the Mariposa del Chagual, we have poured our hearts into sharing their stories. We were guided along the way by the most amazing scientists (we love you all!) and are deeply grateful to our dearest Dr. @_annjones_ and @gambusiamusic for composing the music and soundscape that bring it to life. Throughout October, this animation will be presented as a large-scale projection at @mut.cl (Mercado Urbano Tobalaba), a space dedicated to culture, community, and sustainability, right outside the entrance to the metro. MUT brings together people, art, and ideas that inspire connection with the world around us, celebrating culture, nature, and shared spaces. We are deeply honoured to collaborate with MUT and to share this homage to Chilean wildlife with you all. Having grown up in the valleys that are home to the Picaflor de Arica, and missing Chile dearly, this project is immensely heartfelt. To reconnect with the species of my home through art, and to see them celebrated so proudly, is an honour I will carry with me always. This work now also carries a deeper meaning, a tribute to Dr. Jane Goodall, whose vision and lifelong commitment to animals, people, and our shared planet made Día de la Fauna possible. It is part of her legacy, and a way of honouring the hope and love she inspired in us all. Nos vemos en el Día de la Fauna ♥️
