Since 2008, Handmade has been proudly supporting Australian-made designers and producers 💙
Starting with just 35 stallholders in 2008, we’ve now grown to be one of Australia’s largest design markets, welcoming 260 stallholders from across the country and supporting more than 550 makers through our online directory. Throughout that growth, community has always remained at the heart of what we do!
From the very beginning, our founder and director Julie created Handmade with a passion for supporting small, Australian-made creative businesses. One of Julie’s priorities was that the event would always be free to enter. Today, we continue to offer free entry and free parking, while also supporting local charities like @riseabovecbr , who collect optional donations at our entry points to provide financial assistance to cancer patients across the Canberra region.
We love what we do and we’re incredibly grateful to every stallholder, shopper and supporter who continues to be part of it 🤗

Their range includes jams, relishes, BBQ sauces, pasta sauces and dessert sauces, all made in small batches using high quality ingredients. Proudly Australian made and award winning, their entire range is gluten free, with plenty of vegan and dairy-free options. With no preservatives or additives, it’s all about that truly homemade taste!

Our annual Blanket Drive is back this June, and we’d love your support! ❄️
We love this initiative (and hope you do too!) because it’s a chance to give back to the Canberra community and help those in need during winter. Every item helps, and together we can spread a little warmth and kindness where it’s needed most.
We're partnering with @salvosau to collect essential winter items. You’ll find the donation drop-off point at our June 13 & 14 Market, near the reception area. We’re encouraging donations of good-quality blankets, sleeping bags, warm clothing like coats, socks, gloves, and scarves, as well as toiletries and personal care items.
Now is the perfect time to check your cupboards for any unwanted but good-quality items to bring along. If it’s something you’d feel comfortable giving to a friend, it’s perfect for donation 💙
