Hard to find the right words to describe how epic this moment is for @joinladder , or how massive the effort was for us to get here, but couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to partner with the one and only @hilaryduff . I’ve worked with a lot of celebrities in my career, and it feels slightly pejorative to describe Hilary that way. She was the coolest, most easy-going and effortless talent I’ve ever worked with. She gave us a full-day, plus some, just because we were catching a vibe. (Mind you, she was working out all day - not an easy task.) Truly, the sweetest and a pro’s pro. So grateful to @john_rains of @backstory.us for hanging with me for almost a decade of projects now, and always over-delivering. Just a few days after @simonebiles won Gold at the 2019 World Championships (and had two more moves named after her), I had the pleasure of photographing her at her training facility in Houston, Texas for @mondelez_international . She was super sweet and inspiring to work with. Also, we both have French bulldogs so we’re pretty much the same person, although she is a slightly better athlete than me. Little did we know this Olympics campaign would take nearly two years to release, but excited to see these displays out in the world and wish her the best in Tokyo! Took a little sidequest to Sweden this weekend to shoot a movie for @joinladder , and here’s the rundown. @abbiedennisonfit & @astratsangaris ran for almost 14 hours straight. @saysomethingproductions lost a sweatshirt and nearly lost a drone. @dnkswole sprinted nearly half of the race with a camera. We all woke up for a 2AM call time. The best meal I had was Michelin-starred Indian food in London (obviously), but a Swedish gas-station hot dog came in close second. Another adventure in the books. European Summer always finds a way.

It occurs to me I haven’t posted any work since January, but I can assure you… work has been done. 😅 Early this week, I got my hands dirty and did a quick edit in a couple hours to hold down the fort while @saysomethingproductions cooks on the real piece. Have a lot more work to share from the past 6 months or so, but first, time for a vacation. And if you haven’t tried Ladder yet, July 14th would be a great time to start. Thus ends 7 months of planning and 3 months of production on 4 campaigns, all for @joinladder January marketing. We hit top 10 in Apple’s US App Store for health and fitness apps, #1 in Canada, #8 in the UK and #4 in Australia. (Shoutout to the Ladder creator team for their hard work! 🫡) For this final campaign, The Quitter’s Day Fairy, we had a blast highlighting all the excuses people use to quit their workout routines. I spent this entire overnight shoot, laughing my ass off with Director @coreycrumpacker (who co-wrote the script with me), Producer @john_rains of Backstory and the entire crew I’ll list below! Stavvy used probably 5% of our lines and improv’ed the rest. Huge thanks to @gstewart72 who was a sounding board for all these campaigns and never hesitates on a good idea.
