I’m always looking for ways to rotate different ancient grains into my diet. A night of nourishment for @eatsimpli šŸ¤ SIMPLi's "Nourish like a Mother" campaign is a beautiful tribute to the energy both literally, through cooking, and emotionally through support, love and care that Mothers and mother figures give every day. Philo is inspired by the nourishment from my mother and grandmother - both in the amazing meals they cooked and the warm environments they created. Nourishment doesn’t need to be complicated. Once it becomes a routine, nourishing yourself isn’t complicated. It should be exciting, delicious, and leaves you feeling your best. •take inventory of what you already have: fridge, freezer, and pantry. Make extra and freeze some for the future— whether that’s sauces, meals, cut up veggies, etc…your future self will thank you. Also, don’t sleep in frozen fruits, veggies, meat, etc. — fresh is not superior. •switch things up- make the same bowl but add different veggies. add a different sauce. put it on a sweet potato instead of bread. turn it into a bowl instead of a wrap. or vice versa.
