Bean Supporter is Turning 1!
Come to our beanthday party, or our June Bean-up.
What is a bean-up?
A place to let your love of beans run wild, build community, and eat some really incredible food.
Assemble with your fellow bean lovers, bring a bean dish, I’ll have a bean bake, and celebrate our love of legumes.
Make sure to label your dish and include any major allergens
Please bring a plate or bowl and a utensil to enjoy in all of the beans.
Send this to a bean lover in your life. I can’t wait to meet you all!
Will you bean there?
Beans changed my life:
In 2017 I found myself scared, my body was shutting down, and I couldn’t figure out why. As a last ditch effort before trying more invasive options, I decided to eat beans. A lot of beans.
Why beans:
Beans are affordable, great for the planet, and a great source of soluble fiber, protein, iron and magnesium. Beans are the ultimate super food we all sleep on.
Now I have an entire account dedicated to the humble superfood where I share with you my love of legumes, recipes, and a bit behind the beans into what I do to continue to minimize my carbon footprint, be mindful about my consumption, and live in a way that allows my body to thrive.

This granola is designed to make you glow from the inside out:
Red Bean Buckwheat Granola
Toasted buckwheat improves circulation, regulates blood sugar, boosts the gut microbiome, and provides all amino acids (for all of you who are deeply concerned about complete proteins).
Red beans, for their nutty sweetness, are often used to fill mochi and buns with antioxidant- and potassium-rich goodness.
And finally, sesame, especially black sesame, for bone, skin, and hair health, packed with calcium, magnesium, and vitamin E.
