NYC’s five boroughs as illustrated by artist (and lifelong New Yorker) Dylan Goldberger @dylanjg These illustrations were used on skateboards which were unveiled at the grand opening of a new TD Bank branch in Midtown Manhattan. Icons were also pulled out of the illustrations to be used on tote bags and other swag. Amazing how many symbols of each borough Dylan was able to fit into each illustration! Which one’s your favorite? #nycartist #engraving #lineart #cityscape

@dylanjg partnered with @dogfishhead Brewery as their 2026 Seasonal Artist, creating four original woodcut illustrations used across the brewery’s Season-Ales! So far, Spring and Summer have been released with Dylan’s unique designs that incorporate each flavor’s ingredients into a character illustration. #woodcutartist #packagingillustration #engravingart #woodblockprint #printmaking

Happy record store day!! I partnered with @dogfishhead and @gratefuldead to create this years official @recordstoredayus 2026 poster. You can pick one up for free today at your local participating record store! Two nights ago I swung by @brooklynbowl for a @bushwicksdead show and DFH official release of their newest Grateful Dead collab and got to trade signed posters with their founder Sam Calagione and GD’s archivist @lemieuxdavid1108 Swipe through to see some of the sketches and some skull illusion illustrations that inspired me for this poster. Big thanks to DFH AD @ryantelle for inviting me to be a part of this!

@bushwickprintlab invited me to show two of my prints, Subway Dogs and Stoop Dog Night, in their booth at this year’s Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair at @powerhouse_arts ! The print fair runs today through Sunday and if you’re able to make it out, I highly recommend taking a tour of the building and @manhattangraphicscenter . Powerhouse is an incredible nonprofit art space with just about every kind of fabrication shop and studio you can think of.

Some more shots of the can and 6 pack packaging art I created for @dogfishhead spring release, Czech-Spresso. If you missed it, check out my last two posts to see the woodcut process of creating this can art. Big thanks to AD @ryantelle for bringing me on as 2026 Seasonal ale artist! Stay tuned for my summer, fall, and winter cans releasing throughout the year! 🍻 First 3 photos courtesy of DFH’s brand storyteller @greg_o_ry 📸

So excited to be this years @dogfishhead Seasonal Ale Artist! Over the past year, I’ve been working with them to create four beer can designs that will roll out seasonally throughout 2026. I carved the line work for all four of my seasonal cans I created and wanted to give a little behind the scenes of the cutting and proofing process go the block! The first one was their spring release, Czech-Spresso, a Czech-style dark lager brewed with coffee malt. Each can is based on a seasonal “spirit” or legend. For Spring, I pulled from the Green Man, a leafy face often seen in old architecture and art, usually symbolizing spring, rebirth, and new growth. The face is made from coffee leaves and beans to reflect the beer’s flavor.

Had the honor of creating last nights poster for @grahamelesh and friends at the @capitoltheatre for the second year in a row of Unbroken Chain, celebrating the life and music of the legendary @phillesh I leaned into the Cap’s mascot, squirrels! They were included in Thomas Lambs original 1926 architectural design and can be found in the wallpaper and carvings throughout the venue’s interior. In my illustration, the decorative arch in the tree is directly inspired by those gilded carvings. To tie it back to Phil and the Dead, the central pair of squirrels are in the same musical poses as the iconic turtles on the Terrapin Station album cover and the big oak tree trunk forms the Dead’s Stealie logo. Show edition printed as a 4 color screen print by @keeganmillscooke

Been listening to @wherethefuckisjohhnyblueskies new album on repeat since it’s surprise YouTube release a few days ago! I was lucky enough to do a @johnnyblueskies poster for his Bozeman, MT show last year. The dino idea was inspired by Bozeman’s Museum of the Rockies being home to Big Mike, a bronze cast of the most complete T-REX skeleton ever discovered. If you’re in NY and want to see this print in person, it’s up at @soi128 for their 68th Illustration Annual show until 3/14! . . . #gigposter #concertposter #sturgillsimpson #illustration johnnyblues

A closer look my @billystrings print from his @theryman show this past weekend! I’ll have an extremely limited number of Artist Proofs available on Wednesday, February 25 at 1 PM EST! As a classic country nerd, had a lot of fun digging into the Ryman history while trying to come up with the concept for this piece. I came across some back alley ghost stories when folks had claimed to have seen the ghost of Hank Williams roaming around, perhaps after one too many at Tootsies, the bar that shares the alley. I tried to work some of Broadway’s neon in the background and added a little easter egg of ET’s record store in the distance with the date written on the sign (taking some creative liberties on the exact location). For this piece, I carved a woodcut to create the key linework. Normally with a woodcut you have to carve the lettering backwards so it prints correctly, like a big rubber stamp. But since this edition was going to be screen printed and not printed directly from the block, I kept the lettering reading the right way so the carving could stand on its own as an original piece. After pulling a proof, I scanned it and built out each of the color separations digitally in Photoshop, drawing every layer individually. Those files were then sent over to Axelrad Screen Printing, who beautifully printed the final 5-color screenprint edition. Swipe through and take a closer look at some of the process!
1) Final screen print edition 2) Woodcut key line print 3) Finished mdf block 4) Carving… 5) And more carving 6) concept sketch 7) reference images 8) screen print color separations 9) foil paper print variant #billystrings #concertposter #illlustration #wooodcut #printmakingprocess @flatstock
