The past few days have been spent digging through the places of my youth! For those that may not know I grew up in CT and the last two days were spent going through the record stores I grew up going to! The fact that I can take @lukehmunson to THREE record stores I went to as a child in present day is just SO cool.
Those stores being -

It makes sense why they’ve been around for as long as they have. The owners of each of these shops are all some of the coolest people you could ever meet. It felt insanely cool to go to these places I grew up going to as a shop owner now - each of them are true inspirations to me. Chatting with Paula at Exile, Dan at Mystic, and Brian at Gerosa these last few days has been honestly super rewarding. BEYOND records - and YES we got SOO much great stuff from each of these three shops. It felt good to be able to tell them all how their shops made an impact on me as kid! I truly appreciate the time we spent with all of them the past few days! SO THANK YOU ALL! You make me very proud to be a CT boy!
LASTLY - our friends here in CT have set us up VERY nicely with a new cassette section!! These are good cassettes!! You will be pleased even if you haven’t bought a cassette in years! REALLY cool stuff! We are super excited to actually have a proper tape section now when we return!
As for whats next? We decided. We are heading south y’all!! See you soon @rctrecords !
