We don’t usually go into much detail about our posters. But this one is special. It all started 30 years ago, when I gave my older sister our first Wachuma cactus. For the past few years, one of its descendants has been with me, and sometimes it gives me the pleasure of enjoying its flowers during their brief few hours of life. During that time, I take the opportunity to photograph them. For me, it’s a very special and symbolic event that happens only once a year—and not even every year.
My sister passed away last October. Possibly the most important person in my life. My friend, my sister, my mother.
I called her HERMANA,
and she called me HERMANO.
This poster is a tribute to her and to all relationships based on love and respect, whether familial or not. And it is yet another piece that fits perfectly into my personal story, giving more meaning and magic to this thing we call life...

My latest poster is a colourful afrobeat explosion for @bigbirdkuti
I am happy how it turned out, especially because it was last minute!
The main influece about the idea behind the poster is my daily few from my balcony.
I always daydream about which sounds all these antennas of the rooftops over Barcelona receive.
In this case they receive the vibrant sounds of Africa!
