4am-7am can be a bit daunting, and inheriting the dancefloor from two other great djs with the fear of people heading home early I was definitely a bit more nervous than usual -- but bloody hell I didn't need to be!! can't believe we had a full room till close, with folks dancing all the way through sunrise to the early hours. proper class and can't wait to return to one of Poland's most valued venues.

In 1970s, Chicago’s black and queer underground scene began to take disco motifs and layer them in with the now-iconic TR-808 drum machine. House music was born. Full of funk and soul, house brought people together across the world - and to the surprise of its original pioneers became a staple of the UK free party culture.
We're continuing this legacy for a one-off club night with top-notch DJs. Join us in the Sidney & Matilda basement, one of the best underground spots for partys in Sheffield. Everyone welcome, from the avid raver to the occasional head-nodder.

The final part of our lineup: Scratch resident Brindle.
Inspired by the sounds of Sheffield - the home of electro-pop, Warp Records, and some of the earliest British responses to the house and techno of Chicago and Detroit - Brindle has crafted a unique sound with heavy 90s house influences.
After a year touring the club scene of Poland, he's back in the UK expect mixing interlaced with an engaging combination of urban British sound, contemporary reworks, and the global folk and soul that first got Brindle into dance music.
