SAT 16—05 J1 x TNMK | FREE entry till 23:30 @nowa_muzyka_festiwal returns to Warsaw on May 16, taking over Jasna 1 for a special night headlined by Special Request — the uncompromising alias of Paul Woolford. Through this project, he channels the raw spirit of UK rave culture, fusing jungle, breakbeat, acid, and hardcore into a high-impact, contemporary sound. Deeply rooted in the legacy of pirate radio and underground dance music, Special Request bridges past and present with precision and intensity. As one of the key figures shaping the evolution of these genres, Woolford continues to push boundaries while staying true to their core energy. The night is rounded out by a strong local lineup. Alien Fugitiv — a vinyl enthusiast with a taste for heavy bass and sci-fi aesthetics, seamlessly blending electro, breakbeat, techno, trance, and tribal into fluid, unpredictable sets. He will play b2b with Heather Helix. Heather Helix — classically trained, club-tested. Since breaking through via the Oramics contest, she’s been building high-pressure sets that cut across techno, acid, electro, and trance with control and instinct. Margas, also based in Poznań, moves between house, techno, electro, and breakbeat. His sets focus on groove, contrast, and subtle experimentation, shaped by years of experience as a resident at Dom Technika. A dedicated digger, he builds distinctive selections that go beyond the obvious. Active on the Polish club circuit since 2021, his mixes have been featured on platforms such as Threads Radio, Aaja Music, Mechatronica, Moskalus, and Loose Lips. This night serves as a warm-up for TNMK’s 21st edition, a glimpse into the atmosphere that will later host names like BLAWAN, Dave Clarke, and more. Ten Cza is not colorful. She carries melancholic greys and funeral blacks. Once full of joyful colors. Burned away in the flames of hatred. She rises from the ashes, with knees worn raw from embracing, to bring word of a queer dystopia. She has had enough of empty joy, and believes in the healing potential of collective sorrow and mourning. Pessimistic, frightening and radical. With releases on labels like KEY Vinyl, Mote Evolver, and Token, and a strong presence in Berlin as a Pornceptual resident, she continues to push her sound worldwide, delivering techno that’s direct, forceful, and built with attitude. Red Rooms moves like a low-frequency signal through Berlin’s underground, subtle, controlled, but impossible to ignore. His sound is stripped to the essentials: pressure, space, and rhythm dialed in with surgical precision. With support from Rodhad, DVS1, and Setaoc Mass, and key moments like ADE, Berghain, he’s not just rising, he’s reshaping the pulse. SAT 23—05 DRIFT KYIV ✨ A fluid, immersive night mixing hypnotic techno, trance, and experimental club sounds with a warm, genre-blurring energy ✨ DRIFT Kyiv is an event series and platform born in Ukraine in 2021. Since then, they have been doing events around Europe (Saüle, Den Anden Side, Razzmatazz, Ankali, among other clubs), produced a documentary shot in Kyiv and Berlin about different perspectives within the scene, organised fundraisers, and are now landing in Warsaw for the first time. The first visit of DRIFT Kyiv at Jasna 1 wiith Ukrainian artists OLHA and RICHIE BEIGE, DRIFT Kyiv resident from Copenhagen Matriark and Amsterdam’s Club Raum resident Ræza, expect a night of intense dancing, emotional release and community vibes.
